Every thing was good about this game! The analog system, more matchtypes, and better roster. This one was truly one of the svr games to play!

It's a good game but it still isn't WWF No Mercy. Will they ever make a game with that kind of freedom and tight controls again? It had perfect balance. Smackdown online is horrid also. It's okay but not No Mercy.

I'm a huge wrestling fan and YUKE'S always delivers the goods! This year's installment was just as impressive as all the others and I love the new controls. I also enjoyed most of the music featured on the game's soundtrack. Great game.

Very Good game I've played all the raw vs smackdowns and I have got to say that this has the best story mode

The WWE sucks now the storyline is dead and Cena is the only chrachter thats has the intesnity and personality like those of Wrestling Past. However this game is pretty fun and alot better than watching the current dry storyline of the WWE. Its like a wrestling rpg where you get emails from people in season mode and each descion like forgiving someone for a cheap mover or choosing someone to face you in a title match effects the outcome of the season. The new system of counters and grapples is realistic in the fact that you cant be a buttion masher to master it but have to master percise timing and use the skill of your wrestler.The graphics are great to be on ps2 and the presentation is decent. The biggest negitive is loading times which are repetitive and long. All in all its an ok game.

I know that they can and WILL do better for 2008. But the load screens need to be more action filled instead of just pics of arenaS.. They need to bring Brock lesnar in for a fantasy match with Batista.. I would like to see more classic matches brought back from the past..

great game, i played this all the time. always gets real intense when tryin 2 beat a friend u wont wanna lose n if u do dont slam your remote jus play another match over n over again.

This seems like a good game with a good story in season mode. It has a new control sceme with the right analog stick that adds something to the gameplay, not a good addition unfortunately. The new control sceme made it hard to control the strength of an irish whip. Making it difficult to throw people into the corners of the ring but I think I am getting the hang of it. It only has one new match type. All this makes not that bad of a game but it defanately isn't in my top ten list. It could have been a little better. Worse is that I only liked the godsmack song! They need some better music!!! ( But leave the godsmack)
