Sonic's newest game, Sonic and the Secret Rings, does have it's pros and cons. A good thing, the automatic acceleration. The fact you don't need to strain your thumb on a joystick to accelerate. A con; you can't stop and explore your stage, that's somthing a Sonic fan has grown familiar with. Another thing that's been taken away, the Chao Garden. Another thing most Sonic fans have come to love. A pro, the party games! Most the games take advantage of the Wii's unique controls. Others are obnoxious and are impossible to control correctly. This game isn't brilliant, but it's pretty good. The controls are simple, the graphics are crisp and dazzling. The story is a little cheesey but the game play and graphics are above average. Way to go Sonic.

the camera adjustments are awsome along with the party mode. controls are easy, and fun, wich is a good combo. like the video/comic thing, creative n new. all in all' sonic can zoom his fast ass over to my wii any time.

I thought it could really change my opinion about Sonic but everything about this game is bad. Graphics are bland and boring. Control is WAY TOO loose. Story is nonexistent. This is a good reminder why Sega stop making consoles: because all the games they make blow.

Sonic and the Secret rings is a great on the rails game but it not for everyone, some people will hate this just because of it's very fustrating controls (which after a will work really good but still ain't the best). the graphics in Sonic and the Secret rings are top of the line GC graphics with some parts (sonic) looking better than the Cube. The sound in the game is good once again Crash 40 have made some new songs for Sonic but this time they sound like rocking 80's tunes and like it. What stopped me from giving this game a 4.5/5 is the multplayer, having only a party mode and racing like mode like Adventure 2 really hurt this game as it is effectly a racing game and the party mode itself ain't anything special not that it's bad or nothing. Shore in the begaining you will hate this game because of it's controls and that sonic is shit until you level him up but if you are willing to give this game 5 or so hours to get into i promise you won't regret it. And being a Sonic fan will also add alot more fun and excitment to the game then a first timer, so if you are a Sonic fan this is a must get game and for everyone with a Xbox 360 or PS3 try and in Sonic the Hedgehog i know didn't.

Its a fun game but it doesn't lead anywhere and I don't really understand it but its a pretty cool game try it out some time.

Remember those good old days when you could play sonic for hours and enjoy your self with out crapy camera angels and bad bad story telling at work? Well sonic is back and on his way for some speed. When i first read igns and this sites review i was like man another sonic game just did not make it all the way. Man im glad i dont listen to all these critics. I would have missed out on alot of things sweet. From the time you fire up the game it just feels like sonic. The controls are slick and easy. The visuals just make you want to slow down sonic and take a look. But your so into the story you want to find out what happends next. And as for fun factor this game is by far the best sonic on the market now. And crazily fun. Do your self a favor and stop reading the reviews from people who get paid to bash things and go for sonic . You will be thanking your self alot.

I think the overall experience of the game will be great, since you don't have to controll other characters, just Sonic. But I think the game has a slight disadvantage, and that is the Wii remote. What I'm talking about is that, because of the motion sensing, it could be awkward for some people. Other than that, I think the game's gonna be great!!!!
