Army of Two... yeah it's a fun little co-op game (and when I mean little, there's only 6 missions) if you're playing with a human partner that is. The gameplay is soild, and is so much like Gears of War, only nowhere as manly. During the long missions, you get pretty cool opportunties to do co-op stuff like parasail into hostile territory, and going back to back to kill mad terrorists. The thing that really is a ballbreaker is the partner AI... omg on a intellience scale between a pet rock and Albert Einstein, he's several notches below an ameba. For the most part, he follows orders (even those he botches up sometimes) but when you're hit, you might as well quote Aliens and yell "GAME OVER MAN" because rather than rush to your aid... he get pumped full of lead and dies. He's about as useless as a limp dick during intercourse. Another part that pisses me off is how awful the controls are to the hovercraft (thank God you only use it a couple of times.) Presentation wise, the game is a mixed bag. The graphics are decent, and the weapon upgrades are sick, but the dialog is laughable and cheesy. There are some fun moments to be had, and if you get this game... make you get a friend to join you. BOOM HEADSHOT!!!

Army of Two

Army of Two is a good game. It has one of the best two player Co-Op (hence the name). The game has a really good storyline and fun xbox live play. I think this game is good but I found one major flaw. It is so unrealistic when it comes to killing. You get shot so many times by a really weak character but then you'll die by one shot from a slightly tougher character. All in all this is a good game. I would suggest you rent it first. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Demo Review!

This is one of the best two player campaign games I have played. I like the features It brings, but it takes some getting used too. My favorite was the back-to-back, Its so cool, and when your second shooter is down you can heal him. The story seemed good, and I cant wait 'till I play the full game.

quite possibly the best shooter ever

when i played crysis i did not think it would be topped for quite a while but then i got my hands on army of two at a friends house i was totally blown away by it its graphics are pretty good the idea of tearing off a car door and using it to block bullets is freaking sweet it is the best shooter of all time in my opinion but hey its just mine everyone has there own opinion.Army of 2 i describe as now a fusion of gears of war, halo, and cod4 its just that if you put the fun you have with those games together you would get 3 words ARMY-OF-TWO

Army of two review.

Army of two is a good game with gears of war style combat and great co-op. However player single player is challenging because of the horrible AI partner. I would recommend getting a good friend to come over and you should have a blast. The levels are pretty long, but they are entertaining. The real problem I had with the game was the multiplayer. Never I repeat never waste a speck of your time with the multiplayer. You'll want to vomit.

Army of Two Human Players

Army of Two is a pretty decent game. It really shines in the Co-op department when you have a buddy to play with and watch each others backs, and help each other out. The graphics are okay, but definitely could've been better. The drawbacks is the short six mission campaign and the limited online play where it's just 2-on-2. Other than that, in a sea of FPS Army of Two is a breath of fresh air and it takes you back to co-op games like Contra, Ikari Warriors, and Double Dragon where you anda friend had fun whoopin' ass.

What a waste

Where to start with Army of Two? I'll start with the controls. My cousin purchased this game and beat it over the course of 2 days. He said it was "ok", but that it would be "fun with 2 players". So we started chipping away, hoping for an improved experience, as we all know computer partner A.I. is usually never up to par. Together you can revive, kill enemies, and it works fairly well, but I really can't get over how bad the controls are, he and I both. It is a very very tedious experience. Nothing is smooth, and everything is a chore. Picking weapons is hell. You cannot just click over and use one button, in the heat of battle this kills you. You have to use a combination of 2 buttons. It's not huge, but over the course of the game, you hate it. Melee in game is non existent, you use your fire button at close range I believe, but it never works, we are talking a 1 in 5 chance. You are trying to melee, and you are sitting there firing at the ground, extremely frustrating. That and it is a tedious experience just to get your guy to crouch. The controller layout just doesn't make sense. This game could have been way better had they just refined the controls. This is a very poor mans version of GOW. Enemey A.I. what a joke say you are in a fire fight with one guy, when you aim it him he ducks, realistic right? Yeah, but while he is ducked, if you look away, he automatically knows you aren't looking, even if he wasn't looking to know he doesn't have your attention. Also, the enemies just seem to know that you are locked on them, say you have your gun aimed just waiting for them to peak out, they won't. They magically know you are waiting, the second you look away, they pop up. It is complete utter shit, this is the PS3, and the 360. It is completely annoying. Graphics, the graphics are ok. I would give them a 3.5 of 5. They are done pretty well, but are limited in texture and detail. They are quite bland, and repetitive. The cut scenes, are done well, but yet again suffer from detail. And you have no consistency, one person looks way better then another, and so forth. It's a little bit of a head scratcher. Overall, you have a pretty descent game, but add in the poor controls, lousy A.I., bland story, and a whole bunch of flaws, and it just isn't that good. Couple that with the short nature of the game, and you have a rental for a couple days of frustration. The game itself is fairly easy, but you will run into some controller problems, upgrades are nice, but can't save this flawed title. This is not worth 60 dollars.

Fun but if your alone don't expect much

This game is Fun. If you have friends to play with it makes it better, way better. if your alone be careful its not the best choice for someone who likes to play alone. If you want to know if its worth 60 bucks it depends on how much you like to play with a buddy. Great for a rental though.

army of two

Ok so i waited a long time for this game to come out with it getting pushed back a few times and what not so anticipation built about it. Now that it is finally here and i have played through it once with a partner i have come to realize that it is a really fun game to play as long as have a person playing with you that knows video games. this game is completely co-op every thing you do has to be done together. which is ok and gives a new feel to playing with someone. The graphics a pretty nice onit as well. . The buying of and upgrades you can do to the weapons are another thing i like about the game, other then the pimping them out part. the 10,000 dollars to make look better i think actually makes most the guns look really stupid but that just might be me. The only thing that got me when i first started playing army of two was the turn rate. it seemed like it was lacking a bit. i'm not sure if it was because had been playing call of duty 4 for such long time or if it just moves at that pace. so took a little getting used to that but other then that overall good game
