i played fable 1 a lot and i was addicted to it until halo came so fable 2 was a holiday that never ended for me i still play it i love how the story just puts you in a place were your out numbered have shitty equipment and still u can kick ass with your amazing will powers Story= 8.5/10 That brings me to features using will strength and skill through out the game gives you big advantages that most games would call cheating special in-game move=10 The visuals are amazing like when the sun come up and a bright light of an orange yellow but i did have some choppy areas like when i was fighting some bandits i would just disappear Visuals=8/10 This game is a recommendation to almost any one the rating will disagree though it M so ya kids might not get some of the stuff i loved this game and still do it well balanced but the end of the game will make people mad like i was it suuuuuucks so you've been warned. the weapon verity is huge too so your never gonna go in to a fight without a ranged weapon or hammer mace and sword OVERALL=8.5/10

I love the game. My main problems with it was that it was to short and the final "boss" battle was very anti-climatic. Another thing that kinda sorta irritated me was how um...BUTCH the females get when you update physique... they look like buff dudes with boobs. I think there should have been more side quests. I LOVED the fact i couldn't "die" in the game though and hope they carry that on to fable 3. There were a few bug here and there. A.I. of heros could be kinda bad at times or they'd freeze, sometimes you person would kinda freeze too. Overall though it was a great game. I like how they expanded on some features and creatures from the first fable and such. Here's hoping there will be WORLD travel in fable 3!
my favorite RPG ever FABLE II

Over all I liked the game and still recommend it to any rpg fan...but
It still isn't what many hyped it up to be.To me its just what fable 1 should have been. The visuals aren't were even close were they should be coming from microsoft. You'd figure they'd be able to get the most out of there own hardware.Controls haven't changed any.But there are plenty of new things to do along the way of being the hero.Maybe I've come to expect to much after one to many final fantasy games but the shortness of the game even with doing the massive amount of side quests just doen't do it for me. The only thing that saves it is the replayability from your actions haveing a effect on the world.
but since i dont think anything will be changed short of the next fable just not selling (which wont happen ) may be i can hope another company will take the innovative ideas from fable and build an epic rpg around it .

This is by far the most insanely addicting game I've ever played. The only thing that came at all close was Mass Effect. I really like the dog element of the game, although I think I made a bad choice at the end of the game. Not gonna spoil anything though.
Awesome Game

If you liked the first Fable than this is a welcome sequel. The animal companion is a great feature and all the interaction with the locals is at times hilarious and disturbing. This game really made me feel guilty about stealing. That is, until I became a soulless thief that would pilfer from anybody and everybody. This is a must have game for the fantasy gamer in you.

Fable 2, Fable 2, Fable 2....or should i say Fable? Honestly, I would rather have an expansion of the first Fable. But anyway, i am going to just lay right out on the table. Fable 2 is no doubt a fun game...but thats only the first few hours. Basically the game starts off as the first one did. You're a little poor brat doing small deeds around town to collect money to buy something. Then a lame event takes place, and here we are several years later.
You start off on a linear quest until a few side quests begin to open up as you progress through the main quest. Now i am old fashioned. When i hear open world, i think of side quest that are opened up at the beginning of the game. It seems that the few open world aspects of the game only opens up after you do main quests. This is a horrible aspect. Where as, in a game like Fallout 3, you are rewarded with side-quest when exploring just by talking to certain people. Even if you're just wandering the Waste land, people will often approach you in distress. But unfortunately this isnt fallout 3 im reviewing, otherwise this will be a more positive review.
The combat is so far from innovative. X governs melee attacks, Y governs ranged attacks, and B governs magic attacks (which range from up close and personal to ranged). If these controls were better implemented, then maybe the combat would have been fun for longer than a couple hours. But there also game design issues that also magnifies the "anti-innovativeness" of the combat system. Such as your character trying to stomp an enemy when he is close to a wall, gate, or other barrier stucture. Its glitch where a enemy suppose to be near a ledge, and your character is supposed to knock them off it. Thats fine and dandy, but a little more time in development could have fixed this little annoyance. Also, i found myself trying to stab an downed enemy, only to repeatedly swing at other standing enemies even if i was specifically targeting that down enemy.
Lionhead should have kept open-world clean out of their chaps. I dont understand why they would say this game is open world. The graphics are beautiful, and thats about it. They emphasized that areas that were accessible in the first Fable would be accessible in this one. Thats true, BUT, you explore these areas, for this simple sake of saying, yeah i been to that part of the game. I go to the side areas just to admire beauitiful graphics. But thats about it, no quest or truly valuable treasure. Not even enemies to knock around, just pure virtual beauty.
Marriage is pointless. I was married to this one woman, which i married twice in two cities. She gave me a child and two virtual STDs. I wasnt tripping because she was my one and only. But one thing that really bugged me alot, is whenever i returned home she was never in our home with the child. She was always at work in th Hub. (Bad parenting). Another thing, when i killed her, the game recognized that i was still married to her in another city. So i guess it counted her as two different people. This really dont change gameplay at all. And when they send your child to child protective services, you will never see him walking around 10 years later after you return from the spire.
Job system is effective but highly boring. You can make a killing if you invest the time, but it will seem like a actual job that you wouldnt like in real life, only that you wont have to deal with difficult customers and you basically go to work whenever you want. Those are positives. But it would be great to be able to get fired for not showing up for a long time or be able to smash a customers face in for being rude.
When i comes to sound, i feel that it is terrible. the accents gets really annoying after a while, and i cant help but feel that your character is a miming fool. They should have took pages from Bethesda's book and gave you at least unspoken dialogue that affects people's opinions of you. Simple put, you make a fool of yourself to get people to like, which is kind of degrading. Even for a videogame character.
Lastly, they should have given you a choice to take the dog. Although it never gets in the way, it is still an annoyance. It sniffs out treasure that is worthless, and really isnt that much helpful in battle. I always found myself either looking for it, or healing it. Then, I scold him for being a "Bad Dog", which is the only satisfaction that i got from it. Lion head should have also given you a traditional map instead of the annoying and buggy breadcrumbs. All im going to say is that these bread crumbs had me running around in circles.
Overall, Fable 2 is high on innovations, but low in execution. I cant help but feel that this game was over-hyped. I am a sincere Fable fan, but i am not going to let that force me to give biased opinions. I feel that they should have spent more time on the things that actually makes a game fun. In reality, Fable 2 is a mediocre action-rpg, that just adds half assed innovations.
Its back to the drawing boards Lionhead.
