Very Fun

This is one of my favorite FPS of all time. Why? Well the story is fun and hard. It has like 13 level i think, and you play as different contries of the allied forces. the best is America, we have the best weapons in the game. you can choose to fight in 4 level difficulties. the best one to play on is hard. ok the best part of the game is the online. the game goes up to 24 players. there are 6 online types. you can choose to fight as the allies or the axis. there are also ranked and player matches. ranked is the best because the people you play with are really good.

Well worth the time

Ok I know there are about a million WWII games out there, but this one stands alone. The single player campaign is good on its own. You get to play as British, U.S., Polish and Canadian(wooo). The multiplayer though on the other hand is what hooked me on this game. The different game play modes from capture the flag, war, and straight up death matches, with or with out teams. This is one of the games that makes me thankful I was smart enough to get a 360.

Solid Game

The story is definately good but can get pretty dull if you have played through the other Call of Duty games. As in the other games it is a lot of running and gunning down germans. But the game was definatley improved with the addition of being able to drive polish tanks around. The online play was really solid and the many different vehicles made the fighting much more intense.

fun game

Better than average game. I would recommend the game to anyone that like these types of games. No real changes but new maps. Maybe not the best installment of the game but still fun.

Been there done that

After COD 2 I think that there was much more that you can do with another WW2 game and I was somewhat right. Its pretty much the same exact game just with a little cleaner graphics and some new added features such as the storyline in which you play as a polish, french, canadian, and american soldier. The story jumps around through each soldiers perspective of the war which is kinda cool. But other than that and a few new buttons its the same game with new maps. The online mode is an upgrade over the previous models by putting in vehicles and a few new game types but thats about it. Hopefully in COD 4 they will really try to switch it up because i know im not the only one getting tired of capping Krauts

Crapfest

What was once an enjoyable game became crap. This game was the reason my borrowed 360 had the feared Red ring of lights. This game constantly freezed all the time. Dont get this game people. Its PURE evil.

I'll Give You Some Cover!

Ladies and gents, welcome to Call of Duty 3. Activision's next effort at the "Nazi war machine." I've heard and read EVERYWHERE that Call of Duty 2 is supposed to be one of the most spectacular first person shooters of all time. I must admit that great graphics, amazing sound effects and cool looking enemy models make for a fun and realistic game. I thoroughly enjoyed Call of Duty 2, but to be honest, aside from the astounding graphics, it got old. Nothing happenned in any of the levels. Just violence. There was no tension or motiviation to win any of the fights...you just ran to the maker on your radar, had a cut scene, and dove into the next firefight. It was a good game, but I'm a Medal of Honor junkie. I loved European Assult on the Ps2. Yeah, the graphics were crud compared to next gen, but there was so much more. Levels had 9 or 10 objectives, detailed briefings, and they were free roaming. You could complete any objective you had the ammo for, and if you missed one, you could go back, complete that objective and recieve your prize. There was also the Max Payne-esqu slow motion feature designed to get you out of sticky situations, and also a *leaning feature* to help you poke your ugly head out from cover without having to stand up from a crouching posishh to hit a Nazi. It's things like that, I believe, that move you beyond simple firefights, and make a FPS game worth paying 50 dollars for. Call of Duty 2 is a model. You want to bang her SO BAD, but she's really shallow after you look past her pearly whites, figure and seductive voice. A good F***, but honestly, I've owned Call of Duty 2 for three months, I beat it two months ago. I haven't played campaign mode since. I still play European Assult, and even Frontline. Now, yes, I know Call of Duty has multiplayer. I was addicted to it with my little head set and sweaty fingers, but honestly, isn't running and gunning getting old? Call of Duty 3 begs to argue the same crap, but this time, on a different day. Once again, we have a very pretty looking game with excellent character models and AMAZING locations. I love the levels in this game. They are so detailed and different from oneanother, it's hard to believe it's all taking place in France. Voice acting is corny, and I don't like the fact that you can't skip cut scenes whenever you load your game. Aside from the graphics, there's not much different than COD2. Well, aside from a new feature that puts you face to face with Nazis...litterally wrestling them to the ground or off of a ledge. It's exhilerating, but it's also scripted...it happens about ten times in the game. An ability to do it to whomever you pleased would make the game more accessable, but for real, I love those scenes. You can operate vehicles too. Those aspects add diversity to the gameplay. They make you feel good to be fighting in that terrible war. Diverse levels, all your favorite guns, spectacular graphics, the ability to do a little more than hide and shoot make Call of Duty 3 WORTH buying if you are a war game fan. If you like the series, I would reccommend buying the game. If you're new to the series, then I'd suggest Call of Duty 2 to be your baby. Either way, both games are fun to play. Call of Duty trois looks better than deux, but two has better controls and multiplayer. It's up to you. Me, I can't wait for the next Medal of Honor game. I just have more fun playing that series instead of this one.
