This game is sweeeeeeeeeer. First your in like a spaceship and you land on this island full of dinosaurs and your ex-clan is there(Wolf Clan) then u go around killing humans and dino's for a while. then u et a sweet detenator pistol and make dino's loook like jello. by the end of the game ur happy u took on dino's humans, scorpions, and 3 tyranasaurus rex's. (Beat the last one my first try)

Not as good as any other dinosour game. Didnt really catch myself having fun in this game...not much for a shooter

I was playing this over the weekend at a buddies house, turns out it is a decent Turok addition, but nothing over and above most other shooters. The dinosaurs are well created, and act like they should but how about at least some harnessed dinosaurs used by enemies for added challenge. The spider tank is cool for an enemy, and overall the game plays well. It can get a bit testing with the lack of closer save spots, but I suppose if a sequel hits (read when....it is Turok after all) they have to go somewhere with the dinosaur AI, maybe even implement robotics in said dinos....hmmm. Either way this game is decent, if you're like me I bought it simply for the fact it has DLC and who doesn't like fighting raptors with giant knives. Who knows I have been writing reviews in duplicate as of today so maybe I have a previous review of it on PS3...

Okay Turok is one of the best games i have played on the 360. Besides Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Everyone who is saying it is a bad game out there....come on this game is very fun and exciting. Though there are some glitchs in the game with the knifing, the game is very great. But it needs more people to play!!!! If people didnt listen to people who say it sucks just went out and baught it and tried it it would be great.... dont just asume it is a bad game. try it out!!!!!

This game is the most unique first person shooter I have played in a while and I own practically every one for the 360. The ecosystem is awesome enabling you to make raptors attack enemy soldiers and there is nothing like watching from a distance as s raptor rips into one of them while they fight for their lives. The guns are just awesome and the gameplay is perfect. Vast environments and tough enemies make for some great gun battles. The graphics are nicely polished running on the unreal engine with that glossy detail. Boss battles can be frustratingly tough on hard difficulty and the game is very challenging in general. Overall, a perfect shooting experience and no framerate issues whatsoever, the game just runs plain smooth.

im still waiting to get my hands on this game cant wait. Plus i havent seen a game like this in a while besides king kong and thats way different.

The online play is igght. But other than that the graphics and game play are really not nearly as tight as many other FPS games out there right now. You can do much better than this title and it should take you a rental to realize that you'l appreciate saving the $55 .

Pros: Good graphics. It's always nice to have dinosaurs in a video game. Cons: Can hardly see enemies through tall grass. Repetitive atmospheres. Wonky controls, no replay value overall. Save your money folks.

I was extremely excited to find out that the Turok series was being completely revamped. I've been a fan since the first one (and even liked the god awful Evolution). Well, I think it's safe to say that Turok is back...... Graphically, the game is awesome. Jungles come to life, and so do the inhabitants if it. The characters and dinosaurs are the high point of the graphics; they look great. The animations of both are also top notch. The frame rate keeps up with the non-stop action, which is a very good thing. The game's sound holds up well, too. The voice acting (with the exception of one character) is nicely done, and helps get the story across very well. The weapons sound right, and do their jobs. The epic music increases the intensity in certain situations. The game controls great, although there are some sensitivity issues. Everything is mapped out on the controller like a normal first person shooter. Online is great, as well. After playing a couple rounds, the only problems right now are concerning lag. These can be ironed out with a few patches here and there. The co-op matches are really intense; one team must get into the other team's base and basically shut it down. This makes for some great, challenging fun, seeing as how teams usually just create blockades in front of their base. Good luck getting through that, haha..... The large team free-for-all matches are normal deathmatch type games; shoot everything that moves. From what I've seen, these matches just turn into knife-fights. It's really easy to get knife kills. To keep the fun going, the online maps are very large. Overall, this is a really great shooter. There's great graphics, a good story, non-stop action and a nice online mode. Turok has offically returned, with guns (and a badass knife) ablazing....
