Wii Sports honest review

Intro: A great game to come packaged with the wii. The game is like 5 games in one. There is Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Tenpin Bowling, and Boxing. 4 of the games only require the wii-remote, with boxing requiring the nunchuk to act as your 'left hand' in the boxing match. However, do not just buy a nunchuk because of this, as, boxing really is not very good, mainly because of its responsiveness. All of the other games are a 4.8/5, but I would rank boxing a 2/5. The fitness test feature really boosts the title hugely, also does the 'training' option. The game will however become repeditive and boring after a fair while, though. Average wii-like graphics, annoyingly repeditive menu soundrack etc. overall- great game that is purfect to be packaged in with a console.

overrated

Initially you pick up the game and go wow look at this I have never played a game like that before. Unfortunately the lack of depth of the game play and skill level required keeps the replay value down for diehard gamefans. It seems more of a game that will grab the attention of someone who has never played video games before than a game that will really satisfy the hardcore gamer. It was fun for about a week when I played with the family but since christmas I haven't touched it yet. Kind of like the social boardgame experience of videogames.

what wii (or mii) think that the wii would want (my 1st reveiw)

okay here it goes: the wii sports game comes with every wii console (as far as i can tell)and is probably as simple as the games can get, but in a good way. the wii sports, in my opinion wii sports was made for 2 reasons: 1} to set an example for other games, on how the wii's and remote's qualities. like mii characters and the motion-sensitive wiimotes 2} give people without gamecubes something to start with, since games for the wii average out at $50 nintendo describes wiisports like this:

Play like a pro! Transform your Wii Remote into a baseball bat, tennis racket, bowling ball, golf club, or boxing gloves, and turn yourself into an instant sports superstar! Put yourself right in the game as a Mii-a personalized and customizable Wii version of you! Don't feel like a pro? Pick up skills you need in over a dozen training games, or just shoot for the best score!
which is a great explination if you ask me, but then, why wouldn't it, i mean, they made it, right? uh oh, maybe not, you also need an outsider's opinion, they also forgot something! what they forgot to include is wii fitness, bassically, you select your mii, and do a sertain amount of training selections and taking your score, averages out your fitness age adjusted for adults (i found this out the hard way, scoring an 80, unusual for a relatively fit kid like me) with the best being 20 and the worst, 80, it alows you to practice this daily and improve your fitness, the only flaw i have found in that is that if you haven't played the wii before, or haven't developped a knack for it, you will get a scary score. the other thing i find dissapointing about wii sports is that there is only one game in which you use the nunchuck, and there are no unlockables or stuff, from what i hear from other members, an unlockable Mr. T would be nice, of course challenging the mii capabilities. wii sports is amazing, and can be best explained by expierence, so i urge you to play it since you already have it! besides my downs, it has around 247 ups, in other words wiisports is fun.

Sir Rhymes on Wii Sports

Wii Sports. Everything i ever wanted in a free game(Which really is'int much) I'm not sure why everyone is giving it crap, i mean its a game that comes complementary with your wii, so why complain? Sure the Single player gets boring after awhile, but the category this game shines in is definitely Multilplayer. Just standing there. embarassing yourself to no extent, is a priceless memory. Out of the 5 games, the best is DEFINITELY bowling.

Wii sports

I'm going to start off by saying that I'm not a sports game fan, so when I heard that wii sports was coming bundles with the wii I thought hello ebay. But once I got my hands on I decided to keep it but not much saved it from entering the online auction world. The game itself is extremely shallow. In fact, baseball seems like something Nintendo threw togethor the day before laucnhing the Wii. Tennis fares a bit better yet it is still weak compared to other games like Topspin. Yet the game makes up for it in the other 3 games. Bowling wont blow your mind, but as a bowling game, it doesn't get much better the wii sports bowling. Boxing, while it basically consist of you swinging your arms around like a lunatic, is fairly exciting and will give a workout, plus it's great for multiplayer. Finally, there's golf, which while many didn't care for becuase of the controllers, I acutually enjoy this game the best and can be pretty fun if you can get yourself in a groove with the wii mote. As far as the graphics go, the Mii characters are simple but it's cool to see your little Mii army being used ina game, and some of the courses such as the golf course look pretty good, almost like a low end 360 title. While the game is far from perfect, it's not bad for saying it wont cost you anything. Another minor complaint is that the game does not come with a real case only a paper sleeve so you'll have to provide you own case.

Multiplayer only!!!!

this game is fun only when you have a big party wth you. Boxing is the only fun minigame that you can play alone and have a blast.nuf said

Wii definitely like this one.

You've got to hand it to Nintendo. They've been doing a lot right with the Wii so far, and Wii Sports is a perfect example. Wii Sports is fun, easy to learn, and free. What more could you want? Out of the five sports, bowling and tennis are my favorites. Bowling is easy to learn and master, and Tennis is the best of the five sports when it comes to playing with friends. After that comes baseball and boxing. Baseball is fun for a while, but the difficulty level soon reaches a point that will have many players tearing out their hair in frustration. Boxing is more fun, but it is the most physical of all the sports, and does wear you out quickly. Finally, there is golf, which takes some getting used to and is the least rewarding of the games. That said, each of these games is fun. Wii Sports ought to serve as a welcome first game, especially considering it comes at no extra cost. It may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but at the end of the day, it doesn't have to.

Wii sports is what Wii need!

Wii sports Graphics 2.50 Controls 3.50 Sound 4.25 Fun 5.00 Replay 5.00 Over all 4.5 Graphics: Over all the graphics arent great there ok &but not great. But thats besides the point, the Wii isnt about graphics anyways. Controls: The controls for the first few launch titles arent perfect at first &since their will&. THE FIRST GAMES OUT FOR IT. But over all the controls for Wii sports are very will done with only a few problems. The only problems that I could find about the controls were that they and sometimes not be exact &but Ill let it pass for now since there the first launch titles. Sound: For one of the very first Wii game. The sound is very will done. Allowing you to hear every punch, bow, thump and so on. Fun: Even though I personally dont like sports games but the Wii changed all that with its ability to give u sooooo much fun from just this one game. The controls although not perfect still give you a realistic effect of actually playing the real game&. This means that all the geeks that dont get out enough can get some exercise for once in there lives. Replay: The replay for Wii sports is awesome. Especially since u can go against a friend or team up if you want. It also allows you to see how your physics abilities are and showing u what age strength you are. Over all: Over all Wii sports is an incredible launch game especially since it comes with the Wii its self.
