The Original Metroid games were good to begin with but when Prime 1, 2, and hunters came out I almost gave up on the series. Then Corruption came out and I gained a whole new respect for FPS's. The controls make the game so fun for the WII it is a must buy.

metroid prime 3 is extraordinary awesome and in my own words is the best in the series on the first person part. the only problem is that it doesnt have any multiplayer online nor offline so thats what brings it down a bit. but other wise playing through it it really shows that the wii can handle first person shooters. i sort of disagree with you guys but other you guys are really the only people i come to for reviews, and news and you guys ROCK THE GAMING UNIVERSE!!!!

Before buying this game I used to believe the hype that the Wii was only capable of last-gen graphics. But now I except no excuse for last-gen graphic design on the Wii. Metriod Prime 3: Corruption, the final installment in the latest Metriod Series, is the most solid title that I have played on the Wii so far, setting a new standard techinically and graphically. Here is my full review. When the game was first announced, the question that everybody had on their mind was: "How well will the first-person controls work?" Well, I'll put your mind at ease by saying that they work well, infanct, they are almost perfect. The control scheme is just as on would imagine: point the remote to shoot and move with the Nunchuck (both in first-person and morph ball mode). Some other additions have been made though. In which you flick the nunchuck to use the grapple hook. This was the only area in the gameplay department that didn't work 100%, in which I expereinced a little trouble with response. In addition to nearly perfect shooting controls, the came also allows you to tweak controls and choose a sensitivity level from three seperate settings, each being signicantly different from the other. This option, as well as the rest of the controls, gives the gamer an first-person shooting expereince unlike anyother before it. The graphics are also a topic that deserves much recognition, which the game play graphics move at one of the smoothest framerates everseen in a first person-shooter. Retro Studios did a wonderful job mixing beautiful colors and models to shape some of the best environments ever seen on the Wii, which look even better in 480p. The only graphical hinderance to the game itself are the cut scenes, which sadley still have a Gamecube look to them. But fortunately, not all scenes look this bad, and the bad scenes can be skipped at the gamers choosing. Even with this hinderance Metriod Prime 3 is one of the best first-person titles available. In conclusion, Metriod Prime 3: Corruption is one of the best available first-person titles (on any platform) and will keep you busy for hours with it's smooth story, breathtaking graphics and revolutionary controls. As to Retro Studios for creating for creating a memorable gaming experience, I only have to words: Mission Complete!
A great game to add to your collection.

This is the third and final entry in the Metroid Prime series, and it's on the Wii. The Controls work great, and the graphic look great for the Wii, and good boss battles. The game is kinda short, say 15 hours, but there is three differnt endings that can add 20-30 hours to the game if you want to see them all. The lack of on-line or off-line multiplayer is the only disapointment, but the xbox 360 like achievements will make you give a lot more hours to the game.
metroid is awesome

I am here to review Metroid Prime Corruption for the wii. I was supprised by the game. I was a fan of Super Metroid 3 for SNES and i thought ever since they did metroid prime games that The metroid series sucked. But i played Metroid Prime 3 and it brought back my love for Metroid. I think it is Underated. In some ways its better than Halo. Like how halo is just run and shoot. In metroid you shoot and use your brain to find out little stuff like "how do I get across this gap?". Also Halo's Campain is too simple. Although Metroid Does get tiring after your holding up your hand for a long time to shoot but other than that Metroid is good.
fantastic finisher

I liked the game and I thought the first person shooting was amazing. The only part that I did not like was the way the control settings was set up. But nevertheless this game is awesome.

first of all the graphics are WOW just amazing. the story line is really long around 20 hours. it has no multiplayer. it is really frustrating at times like the puzzles get hard. overall it is a good game and its only flaw is no multiplayer. if your a fan get it. if you have never played it well its a rick to buy, but you might like it.
what i think.

metroid prime 3 is one of the funnest games that i've ever played. the graphics were awesome and beutiful to look at... for a minute before your blood-lust takes over your inner artist. the controls were simple, fun, with pin-point accuracy, but funkey at times. game-play was great, it was a important part of the story (a little bit short though). on-line play would've been killer. gunning down my palls in a hellish barrage of power beams left and right. and, hyper mode *laughs insanely* :). but this is a fabled dream of a mad-man. i liked that "your not alone" feeling at times but the game made you a lone-wolf at many, many other times. the new upgrade your arsenal was interesting instead of get and switch at will. i give this game a 4.75/5
