I have been playing Bioshock for a while, and it is time to write a review. It is definetley one of the best games i have ever played and is going to be one of the contenders for game of the year. Rapture is a place where everything seems real. The whole game seems real. It gets really addictive and the gameplay is great. The controls are great and so is everything about the game. The Big Daddies are by far the best part. You don't have to fight them right off the bat, but it is wise to because you need the Adam. I don't harvest the little sisters every time. I switch off each time, or if I need a lot of Adam, then I harvest them. The graphics are great. The water looks more realistic then anything I've seen before. It has way better graphics than Gears of War, and is a way better game than GoW. It has replaybility too because there is different endings to the story and there are a lot of unlockable and hidden parts and secrets in the game. The only reason I don't like it as much as Halo is because of no co-op or any multiplayer at all. I have no problem, but I am a huge online gamer. This is a must have for any 360 owner.

IT is very rare that I post a review or response to a game. But I noticed crazy folk, one guy who claimed to be a "44 year veteran of gaming" who gave it a 2.5! What happens are idiots put out a bogus score and ruin the AVG User Score, to sway potential buyers. This game is a solid five in my opinion, and if it was to rate anything else no lower than a four-games that are 3-4 are avg. games. This is NO AVERAGE GAME. The game gives you for avg. gamer 18 hours to complete, and has replay value. I found myself playing a big daddy over and over to find the best strategy to beat him. I dont' do that in games, I usually just play through, but it is so damn good. There is a reason pro reviewers, all of them give it mostly perfect scores, 99% ratio. So they are all wrong, nope. So please buy it, this way more games like this will be made. We need change like this! And for all those douches-don't review games if your already bias.-Meaning if you don't even own a 360, or system your reviewing on, and haven't played it-dont make up lies to kick it! That means you---the douches that gave it a 2.5! Your bogus! I would love to tell you in person!

I'm gonna be honest with this, I kinda wanted to hate this game. I get annoyed when a game that is unknown by everyone except those that truly give a damn about video games explodes into popularity because everyone wants to be a part of an event like this. But I preordered the limited edition, so I picked it up the day it came out anyway. Since then, I've seen no reason to play anything else. This is one of those rare games that you play for a two hour spurt, thinking how you have to stop, and another hour later, you realize you still can't put the controller down. I was amazed by the detail in the graphics, though I noticed some obvious glitches, like dead hands or feet twitching indefinately. The story is keeping me guessing where it will go as I near the eight hour mark, and every time I grab a frag grenade out of the air and throw it back in their face or set a oil covered floor on fire with touching a thing, I feel like a god, and that is priceless

best game i've ever played. it has the best story, the best art, the best everything. you know what, now i'm gonna' go beat it again. see yah'.

Will all of the Hype and positive news Bioshock has received I had to play it for myself to believe it and believe it I did. Bioshock takes gaming to a whole new level in this too real next gen survival horror. The only misrepresentation this game has gotten was the fact of it being a FPS style of game. This can not be further from the truth.

Bioshock offers gamers vast different play styles to match their preference in gaming. If you want it to be a FPS,RPG,Adventure, you name it and you can level your character to match. With a vast selection of genetic upgrades(over 70 in total) you can freeze your opponents,burn them, or even make them fight on your side. Bioshock offers extremely large levels and maps some pushing five stories and up to 50 different rooms to investigate.

I personally played this game as a detective. I wanted to search out and find everything I could to unlock as many different things as I could. Now I don't want to play the spoiler so I won't go into the story,but, I will tell you the plot unfolds it's different twists and sadistic plot of an evil genius trying to give people a place to practice art,science,and medicine without the morality issues of the world.

Not everything however was great about this game. Bioshock seemed to have allot of freeze ups towards the end of the game and while the AI was extremely intelligent because of it's own desire to heal, they seem to level up with you. Giving me a sort of watered down RPG feel. The difficulty of this game is immense with the Big daddy's as the hardest fights in the game because of this I felt that the actual boss fights were too easy. If these creatures are this difficult my expectation would be the bosses were even worse,but, it left me disappointed.

All in all Bioshock has proven itself worthy of the hype. It is a must have for all 360 owners simply because of the versatility in the gameplay style. Bioshock is welcoming gamers to the next level of gaming entertainment
