i love the new innovative controlls and the first party developement that this consol has. Also surfing the internet is pretty fun with it but over all once you get past that the graphics look and show there out dated i expect more from nintendo even if i shouldnt complain due to this is a fairly cheap console i would love to play this more but they need more 3 rd party help... but overall this system is a must buy due to innovation
Very fun

I've had my wii for about 6 months now, and I think I can give a decent review of it. We'll start with user friendly the wii is, then graphics, control, and features. Here we go. User Friendly: The wii is simple to set up, comes with everything you need to get started (including a free game) and the manuals explain everything well. You shouldn't have a problem getting your wii set up. Score:4.5 Graphics: This is the one part of the wii console that doesn't particularly shine. Compared to the other consoles, the wii falls short in graphics. That's not to say it isn't capable of good graphics either. In short, if you want the best graphics, you probably shouldn't get a wii. score: 3.5 Control: The main attraction of the wii, it's controller. Shaped similiar to a t.v. remote, and able to be expanded with other accesories, the wii controller is very versatile. The wii-remote has motion sensors built in, and can work as a pointing device. The nunchuck accesorie (used for many games) also has built in motion sensing. The possibilities for new game ideas are much greater with the wii-remote + nuchuck than a traditional controller. score: 5 Features: Although the wii lacks dvd play-back, it does have built-in wifi. The wii is capable of downloading new content through the internet as well messaging. A custom avatar software is included in the wii. The wii doesn't have the most features, but it isn't really lacking. score: 4.25 Overall, a great system. I'm very pleased. Final score: 4.5

I will give you the high points of my review and the low points of my review. Highs: -motion-sensing Bluetooth controllers. -built in Wi-Fi that allows the system to search for access point. -interesting channels especially the News Channel and Forecast Channel. -great, enjoyable games. -Virtual Console network allows you to play games from Nintendo and Sega's past. Lows: -Controller requires batteries. -Does not play CDs or DVDs. -a wired sensor bar is required for motion-sensing control -the Wii Shop Channel is slow when loading
Simply AWSOME

INTRO:Nintendo have been around for so many years and really took gaming to another level with its console and it became the brand of choice for gamers way back in the 80s and 90s.Now things have changed Nintendo are competing against two other forces in the gaming industry, namely Sony and Microsoft who went towards more "mature" appealing games. With the buzz about the new consoles the XBOX 360 and the PS3,Nintendo had to deliver something unique, something different. With the Wii Nintendo hopes to reach the non-gamer and casual gamer market, wich they did so far. WHATS NEW?:The Wii inovates with its controls as you really make the move, best exemple would be Wii sports included with the Wii,it makes your gamer at home do some exercices while having some fun.Nintendo Wii can appeal to nearly anyone from the 3 year old kid to the seventy-eight years old grandmother. Its a unique system to say the least that is fun and original as well as full of options for exemple you can buy a classic controler if you don`t like the Wiimote. LIVE CHANNEL:The Live Channel allows you to buy classic games from the NES,SNES,N64 wich adds to the console.Playing a classic like Super Mario 64 on a new console is great. You have to buy point cards to buy games but its worth the bucks you will spend, the library of games ainvailable continues to grow, playing the first Zelda again is fun,the points varies like a game can be 1000 points. GAMES:A few good games were launched and great ones keep coming.Zelda Twilight Princess proves to be the best selling game of the Wii so far,Rayman Raving Rabids and Wario Ware Smooth Moves are fun and original games making great use of the Wiimote. It is also to not that the Nintendo Wii comes with a game.Wii Sports is creative and fun and for a game that comes with a console it proves to be a winner, with games like Wii Boxing,Tennis,Golf,Baseball,Bowling that you never get tired of,its a great party game.I don`t like the fact that tere nearly aren`t any mature games(17+)wich the PS3 and 360 support, thats what is lacking to the Wii. GRAPHICS:Cannot compare to the PS3 or XBOX 360 at all.The graphics are a little better than the Gamecube to be honnest, thats a minus to the Wii.The graphics of the Wii are simple but cool, but if youre looking NEXT-GEN visuals this is not your buy. OVERRAL:The future of the Wii seems to be great as the console is always sold-out.Wii is fun, inovative and easy to get used to.A must-buy for anyone, even if its a second console.Easily the choice for partys and multiplayer, not yet an online tought.Maybe the Wii is not a DVD,HD-DVD or Blue-Ray player, graphics but it is surely the console that is the most fun!

Looking for a hi-def DVD player? Wii doesn't have one. In the market for something with mind-blowing graphics? Sorry, not from Nintendo. So what does the Wii have? Fun. Yes, it's the cheapest next-gen system, priced at $250 (compare that to $400 for the Xbox 360 and $600 for the PS3), but it's also the most fun. It is gaming in a way it's never been done. It's more interactive, and it reaches out to the casual gamer and pulls people who haven't been video game freaks in and starts making them addicts. In a good way. The system is going to get even better the more time goes by. If the early showings are any indication, Nintendo has a hit.
Best of the 'Next Generation' Consoles...

The Nintendo Wii is the best of the next generation consoles. It is the most innovative video game console ever designed and its only going to get better. I was at a point of never buying another console gaming system again. Outrageous prices, lack of innovation in game play mechanics, developers fixated on improving graphics above all else, I was done with it. Enter the Wii You people complain about the graphics quality and make that your sole reason for giving the system a bad score, that is short sighted and young minded. First off, take a look at the graphics for Twilight Princes and tell me they are bad and I'll call you a liar. Take a look at the graphics for the included sports game and tell me they are bad and I'll say "Yeah, definitely not the greatest graphics. But Boxing is one of the best games I have ever played. I couldnt stop playing it!" Fast forward half a year and you will see (dare I say) Ready to Rumble Boxing using the WiiMotes and Nunchucks with great graphics and game play. I have a 5 year old son who because of me is already a hard core gamer and the Wii is perfect for him because he isnt just sitting on his rump while playing the games. Now that doesnt apply to all of the games obviously but it just so happens that the games he likes the most are the sports games that come with the console and I think that is awesome. The bottom line is that Nintendo is just getting started with the Wii and the greatest games are yet to come. The future is very bright for the Wii.
The Wii is going places

Don't be too judgemental to the Wii about the launch titles. And it's absolutely no stupid desperate gimmick that Nintendo is doing to get back to the top, the Power Glove was a gimmick, this is revolutionary.
This system is really going places, I seriously do not want to go back to the regular controller consoles again after one night of swinging this remote around. Prepare to have sore arms for weeks after buying this one. Not only is it's design, but also it's price and the price of it's games are great, we don't need superpowered engines to make a great system, we need innovation. The Xbox 360 and PS3 are great systems, it's just I don't know if I want to go back to the old way of playing video games.
Some other great things about this system is that you can buy old NES, SNES, N64, Super Graffix, and Sega Genesis titles for as little as 5 dollars or as much as 10 dollars each. So if you miss playing Super Mario Bros from the NES then you can get it in minute for 5 dollars.
There are so many possibilities with this wireless remote, they can do so many more things that no other gaming console can do, it opens up a great wide spaces for creative game designers. Fighting games will no longer be the same, boxing games will be so much more fun, sword fighting will be more intuitive, horror games will be more exhilerating, it's going to be great!
