Enjoyable, but definatly not for everyone

As my headline state's this game. . . . . well digital graphic novel (d.g.n) is enjoyable. But if you are not a fan of the Metal Gear series you will probably rather pass this one on. It's called MGS:D.G.N because just that, it is a comic book. And while there is some interaction it is very limited. You enter a memory capture mode, bassically an freeze frame image scan. As you scroll around the artwork trying to find memory element's as well as hidden item's threw the picture's. Each frame of animation be layered multiput time's so finding everything the first time threw the story will take you a good amount of time. I suggest to enjoy the story and just pick stuff up as you go, don't stress out over it to much your first time threw. With that stated, the Detail/artwork of this D.G.N. goes perfectly with the comic book. Even a little better with the multilayering of the frame's, and the crisp detail of each picture. The storyline is that of the first Metal Gear Solid game (dont mistake this for the first Metal Gear ever) it's bassed on the first in the Solid series. Which I don't think I have to say it, but it is an awsome storyline. The music flow's well with the animation, and the soundfx add to the enjoyment of the story. Overall this MGS:d.g.n. make's great transition from the comic book to UMD, but it is not for everyone. So if you are looking for a game, and are not a MGS fan you will want to stear away from this. If you are a MGS fan, and you are interested I would not discurage you from picking this tittle up.
