I didn't like this game at all. the training was sub par the game play not nearly as compelling as it once was on the dreamcast, (one of the most under rated consoles of all time). Don't waste your money on this one
This game loses to Wii

Dont buy this game i cant be more clear, its a waste of money, if you have to play tennis, and going outside isnt an option, buy a freakin wii, and play that!

Virtua Tennis has got to be one of the best if not the best tennis game ever made. It's so easy to pick up and play yet its still has a deep set of controls for the advanced player. It's mini games are also fun and great for helping you polish your technique. ALL IN ALL IT'S A GREAT tENNIS GAME

While I have never played the original 2 virtua tennis games I had a great time playing the third. Before I bought the game I thought a tennis game would have hard controls but I was fairly surprised. The controls were great and the graphics and frame rate was awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwssssommmmmmeeeeeee. The World Tour mode where you create a player is fun but doesn't feature any real tournaments and has the most wacky and retarted mini games ever. Such as stopping alligators from eating meat with the ball?????????????????????????????????? Online is fun to play and is pretty good.

Slick graphics and great playability, but little tennis skills are needed to play this latest Virtua Tennis instalment. Like previous Virtua Tennis titles you can press the button the second the ball leaves your opponents racket and the game requires little timing and skill. This does however make for some superb 2 players battles with rallies that can go on for what seems like an age. Ensure in career mode you get plenty of rest or you'll be breaking your wrist and leg before you know it, and subsequently missing 12 weeks of the season and that all important tournement that you have been waiting for. Great game though and if you like tennis well worth the buy.
