battlefeild 2142this games is like wow leaves all games behind...........

Alright. I didnt play Battlefield 2, so I cant realy make a comparison to that.. but I did play 1942, and they seem to have kept with the same style of play. Battlefield 2142 is an epic game, and it delivers it well. I have heard of issues with performance with it, but I havent had any myself. I'm running with an x1900, 2gb of Ram, and a 3.2ghz AMD. So, I guess I'm doing okay for my computer. The gameplay is everything it should be, fast and fun. The stat trackings is always a big plus. The weapons and vehicles used are inventive and realy help the game.. Only problem I can see, is that vehicles do seem abit overpowered, but they can be stopped with a few well placed detonation packs for any sniper looking for a good way to do it ;) -Crim

Being a big Battlefield fan and waiting for this new installment, I was quite disappointed with it. It fairs well but not a huge improvement to the existing established series. Graphics: Not much of a difference between 2 and 2142. Just a few graphical enhancements. Not a big surprise since it's still using the same engine as it's predeccessor. Overall 3.5 Sound: Still the same engine. See graphics. Control: Again same engine. See graphics. Replay: Online all the time is what this game is about. With the new Titan mode, it's definently a refreshment from conquest mode. This is definently a game you can play for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. 5.0 Why did I rate it 3.25? Only because it doesn't feel like a whole new game from BF1942 to BF2, it was a complete change with weapons, and time eras could have been a factor, but 2142 feels like a big patch update. I was expecting the same feel but with new arsenal of weapons and vehicles. There's alot of customizing here and there which is good. Ranking systems still inplace, still with alot of bugs and glitches in it but I'm sure that EA will release one patch after another like we are oh so accustomed to. If you are big BF fan, invest in it or looking for a good online game. But if you are a casual gamer, you may want to look for another game.

THis is not that bad of a game. It has something in it for everyone; from big bangs to stealthy elements it is made for all. The high point whould have to be; the online play. Grab a group of friends and blow the crap out of eachother, talk during the day then do over and over. The on low point I would have to say is the laging. This may not happen once it gets going but as of right now the controls lag here and there but do not really take away from the game. One cool feature that i liked was getting "dog tags". Every person that you knife you get their tags as a nice sign of satus. If playing online with tons of your closest fiends is for you then here is your game.

Wow, this game was really crummy. I played the demo and expected much more. Instead, I encountered unreal tournament style noob gameplay. Developer is obviously trying to appeal to the younger audience; everything has been dumbed down. completely lacks the feel of other Battlefied games. Total disappointment; I won't be buying.
