I spent more time fighting the bosses than the rest of the game! The character is slow the weapons suck compared to the SUPER FAST BOSSES with ULTIMATE WEAPONS with ENDLESS AMMO. Not to mention that you up against the clock with your rapidly draining energy meter. Just not fun!

Can't get enough of this game. My mom is threatening to take away my console if I don't star doing my homework. Guess I'll have to keep her happy so I can keep on playing. I highly recommend this game.

I really enjoyed this game. The storyline, and graphics are really good. The best part of this this game that I'm really enjoying is the online multiplayer. It is always great to have 16 people going crazy to kill eachother. My only problem with this game is wish there was a varity of different maps. Most times it feels that you are playing the same map over and over again.

Good game good to see something new, not just an ordinary shooter. Great graphics. Takes full advantage of my 1080i hd.

I've been waiting on this game since I played the demo last year and it didn't let me down. The game is beautiful from start to finish and the controlls are very familiar if you are a Halo vet. The story is kind of kooky, but not to the point where you're lost to what's going on. The characters and gameplay are fresh and new and yet there is a bit of old school flavor thrown in for a very welcome and unique feel. But even after all of that, I would have to say the the Vital Suits (VS) are where this game really takes my breath away. There are 17 different VS in the game and you get to hop in all but 2 of them...that's AWSOME!! The game is a bit short, and the Akrid get a little repetitive, but all in all, you can't go wrong with this game as it's arguably one of the best on the 360.
Fun and addictive

The first thing you notice is how beautiful the begining cut-scene is. The game beggins, with wayne and his father fighting the acrid. At the end of the cut-scene green eye shows up (huge acrid). You have to run from him, which gives you a big adrenline rush. Its like being chased by a building. When you play the second mission , you experience the real action. The shooting and explosion are amazing. The game is hard, and the levels are long. But im not even good at gaming , and it didnt take long to beat hte level. The trick is to pick up all the ammo you see . Its rare you run out. And all it takes is some quick thinking. Plus just kep your distince from the acrid when you find one. The online experience is fun ,but at the same time boring. If you have to many players with you ,and its on team play . You will have problems see who on your team. Plus the areas are sometimes to big. But besides the online modes, you have a great game. I hope my review was helpfule.

Leave it to Gamepro to dog another great 360 game. If it were on PS3 they would have given it a 5! The game is impressive all around and the reasons GP dogs it are actually way blown out of preportion and some in my opinion add to the game.
Lost Planet offers a schizophrenically uneven gaming experience. It's a frustrating balancing act as expansive levels require you to be patient and methodical in your approach, but a ticking energy meter forces you to stay constantly on the move. It was only during certain, all-too-rare moments when abundant energy levels and a manageable number of enemies allowed me to sit back and enjoy Lost Planet's unique flavor of action.
The openning of GPs review. Not sure if the game was to hard for the person reviewing or what but I think it plays rather well. Sure you have to keep on the move and keep your energy bank filled but that is the point of being out in a freezing cold wasteland of a planet.
As I write this the avg user review is a 4.8, that should tell you something!

A 3/5? What game did this douche play? Look, if these games aren't your cup of tea then don't review them. I am almost finished with lost Planet and I have loved every minute of it. My only complaint is the voice acting is cheesy at times and there is no online co-op. Other than that this game rules. Rulez!

While lost planet is pretty diffcult its also extremly fun, the controls take some getting use to but you can master it after a couple of mins. the story line is pretty weird but I think they tried too hard to make it work. other than that the multiplayer is addicting, its not gears of war or halo2 but its a definite buy if your looking for a new game.

lost planet is an awesome game to begin with,it is just good.i played the demo of it on my 360 and i enjoyed it.it was the no.1 game out of the two shooter games i played.this game is good anough to make haters of shooter games to become fans.If you play the single player and believe thats all it has to offer, then you haven't witnessed its true power. If you want to experience the best multiplayer experience go and play it on xbox live.It has enough rep to be compared to gears of war, rainbow six vegas, and advanced war fighter. hoped you liked the review
