Okay so I reviewed the Xbox version. Now I can point out the differences and tell you why it is worth the price of admission to jump into the ring with the 360. Graphically it definately stands out from the Xbox one version...Although the backgrounds look the same, the characters look amazingly detailed and the reaction and motions of the boxing actions feel more realistic as where the Xbox one version felt sort of 'robotic'... Controls are identical, so to upgrade into the 360 world is a sinch. The Bumpers are a nice change from the black and white button arrangement. My only complaint is that if you don't take it online, you may find the game a little on the easy side. Even with the difficulty cranked up, I only lost one or two fights out of 50....So go online for a real challenge....

From the time I popped this baby in I was hooked, and I'm still playing it to this day. And considering I bought it the day of release says alot. It's replay value I find to be extreamly high; escpecially when you've got a room full of dudes....its tournament time! Its also one of the fastest ways to add about 1000 points to your gamerscore. The only thing I find disspleasing is how it seems to be a little slower paced gameplay than it's predacessors. A must have game in my book.

First of all, I don't care for boxing. Biased opinion on the sport aside, I played the Xbox 360 demo version back in January. The gameplay, graphics, sound, and controls of the game are near perfect. The demo had me sold. So when the game came out back in February, I picked one up the first week it was out. (p)On to the graphics. They are great, the fighters have never looked better. You can see the sweat fly off their heads as you punch them to a bloody pulp. You can see the dust in the air as you walk around the ring. The best part of all is when you knock your opponent out. You are treated to an instant replay, but in slow-motion. Man, does this look sweet. You can see in high-def details your punch striking your opponents face in Matrix: Revolution like fashion. Eye candy galor.(/p) You can also custom build your own boxer and have him go all out in solo and Xbox Live. I was overwhelmed over how well EA put the customization together. You can change the cranial structure of you boxer for pete's sake. There is also the option to give your boxer tattoos. I gave my boxer a mohawk and a tattoo on the right side of his chest. (p) The controls are great. I like how EA used the two analog sticks primarily. Using the left stick allows for your boxer to move while the right stick is used for punching. I find this control scheme to be very comfortable for this type of game (I'm used to FPS). (/p) On another note, EA also removed the Heads Up Display (you can go to the option menu to get the HUD if you want). This gives the game a more cinematic feel. This direction works for me. They intentionally give the boxers exaggerated body movements so the player can notice if his boxer is fatigued or not. If you're dead tired, you notice that your swings are very slothful. But how do you know if your boxer is losing health? Once your opponent has you against the ropes, you hear the boxers breathing heavily and the game slows down. You know shit is gonna happen now. Will you let your opponent knock you out in one swift Super Punch, or will you clintch him, gather some energy and change the outcome of the match? (p) One of the things that bothered me about the game is that it is glitchy. On the instant replays, you see the punchers fist go through the recievers face or an uncontrollable twitch when a boxer is down. What is eye candy is the focused boxers and the ring, but if you look at the spectators they look awfully familiar. What? They ARE the same! And by the SAME, I mean that they look the same and move the same way. They were just placed in different spots. Another thing about the game is that the soundtrack, though good, is limited to a few songs. You don't get to hear the soundtrack in the game unless you are in the menus or before and after the fighting. (/p) With that being said, I would give Fight Night 3 for the Xbox 360 an overall score of 4.75. Even if you don't like boxing, I suggest trying this game out.

Ok, I haven't received a title belt yet. I am by no means the best boxer evar. I can just honestly say that I am totally dig'n this game. The graphics are killer, The action is constant, the controller is fluid and organic and 360 power just cruises you through all the massive amounts of gameplay options -- such as TURNING OFF the HORRIBLE RAP MUSIC that infects this (the negative aspect I can think of great game!!!!
EA Finally got it right.
