So most people were saying this game was a dissapointment at E3.....well in the end its the actual game that matters and this game is no dissapointment.Assassin's Creed is truly different from anything else out there...the mix between stealth and action is great.But most importantly, it's all up to you. You want to sneak up on ur assassination target? Go ahead. You want to fight him man to man? Go ahead. You can run from enemies and hide, or you can fight if you have the proper skills.Note I say skills because the combat system in the game requires skill and not just button mashing.However it's a very well designed combat engine and goes well with the intelligent A.I. Another of this games strength is in it's story.The story is wonderfully written and you really want to finish the game and see what happens.In a game like this, control is important and the controls are definetly up to the task.Graphics and audio are just as good.The game is somewhat historically accurate, however simply the scale of the area is enough to "wow" you. Cities are huge and differences between Poor, Middle, and Rich districts are quite noticeable.Well all in all, this game is great and definetly will keep you grasped until the end (it lasts about 20 hrs, maybe 40 if you take on all the extra objectives).My only complaint is that the game does get a bit repetitive and also that the on-horse combat feels very awkward (not that it really matters as you won't fight on horseback often).If you want something different and immersive, check this out.

some solid gameplay and good graphics alongwith with responsive controls and user friendly engine this is one of the coolest games out there.

Overall a great game!! although it does seem to have its glitches and seems to be the most problem giving thing in the game. run, hide, creep up, blend, kill, or even leap to your fate...anything you would like all free roam. just watch were your running.. wouldnt want to hit nobody.

This game is probably a solid 4, but all the pre-reviews form people who have not actually played the game encourage me to even out the avg user score. The graphics are great and the gameplay is unique. Everyone who owns the console should check it out. The AI is cool and very responsive. However it does have some downside. The cut scenes are annoyingly long and the load times are equally long. The control scheme does dot run clean. There I said it, it is not smooth and at times is slightly glitchy on the pS3. The game is TOO large, and at times gets repetitive in the tasks. It reminds me of Shadow of Collosis where there is a huge world I wish I could navigate easier. I mean, do I have to ride around for 20 minutes to get to the next town? I encourage you all to judge for yourselves. Th game is unique, but not the 5 out of 5 people are selling. Of those released now which I am playing (Mario & Call of Duty 4, this one sits at the bottom of the pile for a few weeks.)

o7....the game is going 2 be the game of the year at least 2 me but halo 3 is even thou assassins creed is a lot better than halo 3.

its a nxt gen game im sure it will bring a future into gaming it will be a hit for the ps3 hopefully thats why i gave it a 4.5

Assasins Creed the next generation stealth game or is mgs and splinter cell still the best?Well this game mostly takes place in the near future.With a highly better combat system than any other game where swords actually come in contact with eachother and where stealth is your only option for survival unlike splinter cell!the whole world of assains creed is amazing.The surroundings and texture into the graphics are completly stunning.So will this game come on top and beat out mgs and splinter cell for the top stealth game? We shall see

I have been thinking about this game all month! I read alot about the features and the gameplay. Very fun and cool kinda like FF but not really. Anyway buy this game for the PS3 in April!
