this game is the continuation of the other .hack series. In . hack gu you play as a young man named Haseo...well at least that's the name of his avatar on the hit online game "the world". Work hard to gain levels, get member addresses, find weapons, armor, and items, In .Hack gu vol. 1

One of the best dot hack game's iv seen its very easy to learn to play, the game play is pretty reallistic. The way that you can meet player's and PKer's and PKKer's is sweet. Very fun to play.

Konnichiwa! I've only seen the preview of this new PS2 game comming out in Japan on Cinematech nocturnal emitions two nights ago. From what I understand by watching it and I also recoreded it that .Hack//GU (Graceless Union) takes place after the events of .Hack//infection- quarantine, not sure how long ago after the events but seeing the preview for it shows kite or something that mimics kites character fights with the new main character of the game. Here's how I see it as it starts. The main character who wears the black armor and has short white hair is named Haseo: The Terror of Death. From what i've seen in the beginning he was killed by an unidentified character and left in a dungeon, but he is brought back to life by some unknow force probably a virus or most likely a runaway AI which also pops up the letters of AIDA(Artificially Inteligent Data Anomaly). From the beginning of the preview it showed; "When it was born", "The first thing it saw", "Was a "PK" ". So from my assumption I think that AIDA from which it was born found Haseo and unified with him and Haseo is supposed to be a player killer which from watching the previous hack and knowing that PK dont mean player character and we do know of other characters in the game killing others. Unifiying with this AIDA gave Haseo great abilitys and a possesed suit of armor with three eyes. This living suit of armor allows Haseo to be probably any character type in the game; twinblade, heavyblade, and Heavy Axe(but i only saw a huge scythe) by just retreiving a selected weapon from his back but from what I have seen of his equipment they are like saws like his sword and twin blades. As I saw the clips of him fighting against a group of other players who were beating up an unknown character I couldnt tell, but he massacred the entire group showing him use all of his weapons on them pluss he did a move that shot a blast of energy at one character as well.
