All I can say is it's awesome. The graphics are outstanding. It's like real golf, and I should know because I play.

I've been a fan of the TW series for a long time. Heck, let me just say, it's is the only golf sim I play. I loved TW 05'. The addition of golf legends and tiger vision/Tiger proofing was an excellent idea. Some people may say tiger vision made puts too easy but you are not forced to use it. The discression is yours. I was looking forward to TW 06' for months. I bought the Xbox version first so I could play on Xbox live ( I've never been able to sign on with Playstation but never the less I preffer it for the joystick controls.) The controls on the XBOX were absolutely horrifying! I returned it withing 2 hours. I exchanged it to the PS2 version and to my horror,nothing improved. EA completely messed up the best golf sim out there. ( Like they did with Knockout Kings a.k.a. Fight Night- My fave is still KOK 2001 but that's another review). All EA needed to do to improve TW05' was to add new courses and players..THAT'S IT!!. But noooooooo...they had to revamp the controls. In 06' now you control the spin of the ball with the right joystick which is impossible to do when you are swinging with the left joystick at the same time. Unless the designers had a third hand, they were completely smoking something when they did this. How about putting? Holy #$%!! There was nothing with the putting style of TW05', it still required skill and accuracy. Instead they changed it to a HOT SHOTS style of putting where you have read the green according to moving graphs on the ground. To add insult to injury, they made the swing power coincide with how hard you actually move the joystick. S-T-U-P-I-D-! I am sooo disappointed with this tittle. EA really messed up. I returned this tittle as well the next day. I feel I have been cheated. EA could have done MUCH better. I don't know how many courses, players or modes there are since I got rid of it so quickly. Frankly, I was not interested in finding out.In closing, i will keep playing TW 05' and hope EA gets it right next year.
