Ive been playing this game for the last twenty-four hours and I finally beat it (for the 10th time). This game is incredible. Not only is there no loading but the story line is understandable also. This is my favorite game since NFS:Most Wanted. If you don't own this game, GO GET IT. I just might by another copy.

So, a little late writing a review for this game, but I just recently created my Gamepro account, and wanted to contribute to the site as best I could.So this game was okay.. I mean, it's another THPS right? It's the first THPS I haven't played 'till the end though. I guess this series just lost it's lustre with me. Maybe on the PS3 this series will be worth another shot though.

American Wasteland introduced us to an acual full world of skating. No loading and alot of variety. It also was nice how they added the bike feature in to make it a 2 in 1 game. No more $50 for matt hoffman $50 for Tony Hawk its all in one game. There are alot of chalenges and again the challenges range in variety which is another great thing about this game. One downside to having one city being LA is that we dont get the scenery change like in the origional Tony Hawks Underground. Even though you unlock new parts of the city you dont get to prove what you have at tampa or get to choose which team you will ride for and are limited to the boundries of LA. The daily chanlenges however is one thing that is nice about the progression of your chrachter and are fun ways to get better. Another progression added to the Tony Hawk games in this game are board stalls. Its fun being able to do board stalls on rails and ledges and not being forced to do them just on ramps. This game is fun to complete and has a whole world of things to offer.

This Tony Hawk game may be kinda old, but it is still fun to play. I think it is a great game to play, but I think the Tony Haws Project 8 is way better. I still give this game a good rating.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is one of those games you never get tired of playing.I've probably beaten the game about one hundred times and still love to play the game over and over.It has a solid storyline and pretty good graphics.The voiceovers are simply amazing and awsomely good.I recomend getting this game.

Well this game is so disappointing I thought it was going to be so good.The game play is very good but it is so short when you get so into the game it is over.All the chooses for clothes, decks, and tatoos.The new tricks are cool the Bert-slide is freaking sweet.The classic mode is very good way better than the classic mode from Tony Hawk's Underground 2.But Tony Hawk games are always great multi player games and the online makes it even better.The taging thing is really cool better then the one in Tony Hawk's Underground 2.The levels are very good and I'm glad that they didn't use the level from story mode to use in classic mode like they did in Tony Hawk's Undergroud 2.

this game was good unless u count the endless running around for missions. lots of bugs and pauses u mess u up but still, this game was fairly good....... Lachy

It's very good and the graphics are excellent. Even my dad likesit. I'll give it a 5.0. That's all i have to say.

To get right to the point, this is a Tony Hawk game. So, that means it's an awesome skating game. The online play is excellent, all of LA at your skating disposal is great, and the classic mode reminds you of the excellence of the first three Tony Hawk games. The problem: It's a Tony Hawk game. Neversoft hasn't done anything origional since the first THPS. All it is is skating, and completing objectives. Granted, it's fun for a while, but then you realize you've played the same game 7 times... in the last 6 years.
