Why does it feel like i just went around the corner and got a game that i thought was madden and got drake of the 99 dragons. This game is some crap Madden this is sad

Underwhelming might be an understatement. This game shines graphics wise but it is obvious it was rushed as it lacks so many features.

Ill make it real simple. Bad gameplay, its not fluid at all. Feels very sloppy. Animations look very robotic. The players movement dont look real at all when they are running and when you try to make them move in a different direction its like steering a boat. Graphics are nice but not outstanding. I expected more since the comment was made by a EA representive that the game looked better than the commercial that was first released during the NFL draft. It wasnt even close. The commercial looked way better The games new playcalling system is very nice. Things are also missing from this game. No defensive hot routes, no cameras to choose from, no franchise mode, no mini camp, and no challenges, and all this for $60. Its a pure rip off. Gamepro I really like u guys but this 4 out of 5 for Madden 06 on the 360 is way off. Im very suprised at u guys,

Well if the other madden was a dissapointment enough EA brings out this crap my god who ever gave this a 5 they must really don't care or is just a huge maddenfan read my review. Ok ok Ea explain to me what the hell are you doing . Explain to me I thought you was to improve on the next gen systems not make more crap or mess up a already ok game. Listen this is madden ok it's suppose to have alot of features and there's none at all. Hell you cant even change the hair, weight, or any thing like that to your super star. Hell at least let me create myself. So basically this is what you all did you all said what are we going to do with madden and some dump ass said just give it grphics on it. Then anthor dumb ass agreed with this and his explaination was this " we own the football rights now we can do what we want because if you want a football game you"ll have to buy madden or you don't play. That what they did but they didn't do any thing with just put the real rosters and faces and tried the graphics and a half ass job at that. Just look just look at David Carr and you see what I'm mean. Poor job EA you really dropped the ball I mean you didn't even put madden in the game it sad. Oh I have a message for Bungie if you mess up halo 3 just like dreamcast Xbox360 and Bungie will die in this industry

ill be honest....i dont own an x-box 360 but i did play it and i got say that the graphics are unbelievable but the gameplay lacks in just about everything else....no superstar, no create-a-whatever, and just about no other mode besides franchise....thats just insane....the PS3 will fare good off this b/c of the fact they will have time to look at the wrong things about the X version and right them on the PS3 version. And one more thing....i dont think anyone should even bring up the ESPN 2K series anymore b/c its this simple....compared to madden, the game sucked, ok? i mean the faces were the only thing about the graphics that were good but the players were shaped like boxes and they moved like a freakin' robot....there's not even a comparison. i owened both games and liked playing both games, but the 2K series sucked in comparison

OMFG this game rocks. I mean the features are all gone but the gameplay is amazing. Smooth animations give the game a step ahead of the original Madden 06 for the regular XBOX. At least rent the game. The franchise mode is deeper than ever. This game would be a real treat for anyone.

How dare they discrace the Madden franchise with such a game. This is apperently what you get when you rush a console into market. Most of the features from the other Madden games are gone. You can't even call a playmaker when you're on defense. The graphics are pretty good but the animations SUCK. The linebackers just bump into eachother. Thank god I only rented this game.

I knew this would happen when EA hijacked the NFL license. And please don't tell me how the NFL "approached" EA with the exclusive offer. The 2K NFL games were always more cutting edge and inventive. This is what happens when there is no competition. Madden for the 350 is still fun to play, but it isn't what I was expecting. It certainly isn't next gen.

Good graphics but lousy animations make this a crappy addition to the xbox 360 line up. EA is bragging about the lighting fx that have been done before in another game called 2k5. The animation is poor the 130 face scans look nothing like their real life counter parts and the old Nfl games had more scans than that. Every tackle looks the same in the end with the downed player in the exact same position on the ground. No create a player, team, or anything. Bare bones and lame. I can sell it on Ebay for a quick 300 bucks to an unknowing sucker. I will stick with the current gen football games this year. EA, you are the only game in town, we will wait for something worth buying.
