So, a little late writing a review for this game, but I just recently created my Gamepro account, and wanted to contribute to the site as best I could.This was by far the best co-op experience for the PS2 (out of my collection). You could choose from all of the different factions across the entire timeline of Star Wars. So many different vehicules to choose from, and weapons too. The only real gripe I had with this one is that you couldn't customise your character's arsenal. You basically chose from heavy and light infantry (and more I just can't remember now), each with their own weapon sets. Hours upon hours of gameplay were spent on this gem. Definitely reccomended.

Battle Front 2 is a great game but is it better than the original?In graphics yes but what about fun? In Battle Front 1 I loved bombing the helpless ground forces from above in my Y wing or Tie Bomber. In Battle Front 2 you cant do that because there no fighters on the ground maps! But Battle Front 2 has space battles which let you fly almost any fighter seen in the movies. One thing ill never forgive Battle Front 2 for is taking out The Dune Sea, Renvar and other great places! Don't get me wrong Battle Front 2 is great but if the took Battle Front 1 and Battle Front2 and put them together it would be the greatest Star Wars game ever!

Star Wars Battlefront 2,the sequel to Star Wars Battlefront,is here on the PS2,Xbox,PSP,and PC. Although it is not as good as Halo 2,it is still a good game to play,and diehard fans of the movies should buy this game.The only thing this game needs are more grenades and guns(or blasters).Everything else is perfect.Sound is so good,graphics needs some work,and controls are near perfect.

The first battlefront surpassed the espectations that were set for it and the second one only improved on what was there. The vehicle and space combat are very fun and engaging the controls are easy to pick up and learn and the game is, overall, very fun. However, the selling point for this game is the split screen co-op. Battlefront 2 is the best co-op game i have ever played with a friend. The controls are unaffected and the fact that there is a split screen doesn't take away from the experience. On top of all of this there is the ability to switch between first and third person views. SO!! overall the best 2 player game ever.

This Star wars game is one of the best games in the history of Star Wars Video Games! Action Packed full of new vehicles play as a jedi and new characters and maps! Vader is the bomb!

The Star Wars: Battlefront 2 game for the Ps2 displayed overwhelming graphics, over exceeding sound quality, and adept control giving me great assistance in rating Star Wars: Battlefront 2 with a 4.25 score. This series can and will be much improved over the years to come.

I personally think Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the best Star Wars game youll ever play. I love to play Rise of the empire. Im on Courscant. The cool new feature is the Space Battles. Good Luck and may the force be with you.

Very good ShooterBattlefront 2 is a very good game for the PS2 but there one problem thats I dont like. In Battlefront 2 you get one ground level and one space level. I loved the fact that in the first Battlefront you had two diffrent ground levels and when they took those 2nd ground levels out of the game it shocked me. But in the end BF2 is a great game and i would suggest you buy it because of all the diffrent modes you have.

I love STAR WARS. A LOT. I mean, like, crazed fanboy minion status. So when I heard they were making a sequel to Battlefront, of course I had to pick it up. I wasn't disappointed in the least, of course, as it's a great game. I don't like it quite as much as the original, but that's okay. There are tons of great new aspects to the game. The space combat is superb. You can't fully appreciate it until you get into the cockpit of an X-Wing. No flying controls have felt so right since Rogue Leader. As for being able to use Jedi, well...it's amazing. Playing as any Jedi or Sith is fantastic. Assault mode in Mos Eisely is superb, especially since that was my favorite killing ground in the last game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves STAR WARS, battle simulators, or just great games in general. BUY IT!

This is one star wars game that is a must for the star wars fans. The action is intense and fun as can be.The only draw back are the graphics which at times are clunky but when the fun kicks in you won't notice much.This is a game of strategy and action basically in this game you have to take all the command post of your enemies wilthout having yours taken. The AI at times is alittle hit and miss sometime but mostly is right on key. Bottom line this is a must own game for star wars junkies and for new comers.
