I've gotta say after all my experience in explosive gaming this is on the top of my top 5 Favorites list.This games story in surprisingly addictive and has explosive Ground and Space battles.this is the game that went past the barrier that stops all others.Let me tell you why.SPOILER.In this game not only do you see the eye of the regular storyline of the clone(Episodes 2-3) but that of the storm trooper(Episode 4 -6).And the storyline takes you from the beginning battles of space Between the separatists and the clones all the way to The destruction of the 2nd Death Star. But the story changes.Unlike the movie the emperor does not tell Anakin to turn of the droids but instead tells the clones to wipe them out.so you play in this part, while on a Star Destroyer,you find a separatist Warship in a nebula and are told to eliminate it.So you pick your clone and begin killing the enemy ship.Easy both said and done.Now lets go back in time and see.Oh yeah the attack on the Jedi temple.Many people consider it annoying.I,on the other hand,do not.It isn't the best part because of the Jedi but stay away and shoot instead of rushing and you should be fine.Later,the major attack on Naboo.Objective,KILL THE QUEEN.So after eliminating pretty much everything that crosses you,you kill the queen.Now let's go back some more.Utapau.You play as a clone in the beginning But eventually you play as obi wan kenobi(unless you kill grevious as a clone).Then you have Obi's and Grevious' Major battle.Then (I'm sorry but i don't remember the name of this planet)But you go to a planet I'm not sure if you remember but in the movie after Order 66 was issued many Jedi began to die,one was the on the Jedi council,clone tanks were being destroyed and he moved forward and the clones did the same but stopped and shot him.you fight there too during that time you fight with him until you eventually kill him.But the AI of the game wasn't the best.I've seen better.Basically don't expect (in space or ground battles)to have an Extremely different battle but the AI does change their tactics.Well that's all for now.See you later.

Boom Bang! Star Battlefront returns with a savvy new name....Star Wars Battlefront II. Yes isn't it the most awesomest thing ever!? Well mostly and let's break this down.
Graphics & Sound

I highly recommend this game for fans of Star Wars and the shooting genre. I've liked this game ever since I got it when I was eight. It is like Halo 3 for someone living without an Xbox 360. What I like about this game is just the fun of it. The only problems I found with this game is the lack of blood and available weapons. Normally in shooters, When an enemy is killed, their weapons are left behind or in certain locations, you will find a gun just lying around. Other than that, It's just fun. What I do like about the game is the large number of possible battles you can customize. For example, there are about 50 planets (including areas in space) to battle. You can also limit the amount of time in the battle or the number of soldiers. You can even chose which era to play. This is a great choice for an owner of a PS2 that likes shooting games (though most people won't know what the hell most of the content in there means unless they've watched Star Wars I - VI)

It's a good game to pass the time but the 1 problem is that you have to wait a certain amount of time to play as a jedi!!!!!!

story line rocks along with about everything else.more troops and faster enemys.one of my favorite games ever.

Star Wars battlefront 2 is one of the best games ever. The graphics are great. i don't think its one of the best, actually i think it is the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would give it 4 thumbs ^ if i had 4 hands

Battlefront 2 is a good action game but it can get very frustrating at times.It has a great storyline and you can choose all the types of fighters from snipers to engineer.All have a important role in each level.But the frustration comes in when you take on Jedi's they kill you in one shot and they wipe out your army very fast.But you do sometimes get to take the role as a jedi in the game.It is a really fun strategy,action game that keeps you busy and is lots of fun.But the only downfall is the frustration but its still a fun game

With any Star Wars title, designers must keep in mind that fans of the saga as well as gamers are going to pay attention to every single detail of that specific game. While neither Battlefront nor Battlefront II disappointed, Battlefront frustrated many with its stiff gameplay and monotonous step-by-step procedures for the smallest tasks. Battlefront II was a lot more fluid and less grainy in terms of detail. While some of the missions were bordering on foolishly difficult, a lot of the game came to be enjoyable and challenging. The space vehicle controls are a lot easier to use as well. They got this one right on the head.

Sure, the first was great, but the secound is a masterpiece. The graphics and action have been ramped up a notch, and there are even more maps. The campaign mode has improved vastly and is much longer. A great new feature is sprint, which quickens the pace and makes travelling long distances slightly more enjoyable. My only complaint is the lack of flying vehicles, but that small flaw is overshadowed by great gameplay and excellent level design.

i played from the day it came out and it is still my favorite game you have 7 soldiler class to play as and tons of vehicles if you want to by this you should it ok for kids because there is no blood or gore so go out and buy it now
