LETS FACE IT NBA 2K6 IS NOT AS GREAT AS THESE OTHER REVIEWS WOULD LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE . THE GRAPHICS , PRESENTATION , AND SOUNDS ARE ALL TOP NOTCH . THE GAMEPLAY NEEDS IMPROVEMENT THOUGH . WITH A FEW TWEAKS THIS GAME WOULD BE PERFECT . OK FIRST LOSE THE MOMENTUM BASED PHYSICS IT HAMPERS THE FLOW OF THE GAME .THE PLAYERS MOVE LIKE THEY'RE IN OUTER SPACE - UNREALISTIC. NEXT EVERYONE SAYS HOW GREAT THE A.I. IS I DISAGREE. YOUR TEAMMATES COULDN'T REBOUND THE BALL IF YOU PUT IT IN THEIR HANDS (WAIT EVEN IF YOU DO IT MAGICALLY WARPS TO THE A.I.) . LASTLY HOW COME ON HARDER LEVELS THE A.I. CAN'T MISS BUT YOUR OWN PLAYERS MISS WIDE OPEN DUNKS,LAY-UPS, AND SHOTS CONSISTENTLY. NUFF SAID !
Smooth like butta

No basketball game does it like this. 2k5 was great, this one is killer. The new analog shot is nice, the graphics on the player models have been amplified and the feel is NBA greatness. It is missing the slam dunk contest which makes for some great times on the EA sports side of it but overall you just can't go wrong with this title. Can't wait to see the 360 version.
