Resistance: Fall of Man was the best PS3 launch game, but it's a little aged compared to more modern games. The single-player campaign is surprisingly well-plotted, and multiplayer is addictive. But the so-so graphics and over-the-top guns make the game seem a little disjointed. Resistance 2 is looking tight, though, so it's probably worth going back to at least try out the first game.

if i could pick a game that i really like in 5 seconds it would be Resistance Fall of Man. why do you ask. because it has everything. good storyline, great graphics, awesome game play and some of the coolest weapons in the gaming world.

resistance is good game to get for your ps3 the good things about this game is the online multiplayer the campain the graphics the weapons and the death animations the bad thing about this game is the fact that no mater were you shoot a chimera at the front it will not move.To start with the death animations are good because when you look at a dead chimera you can shoot the body and if you aim at the wire thing on it's back the wire will break and you will see air coming out.The online multiplayer is fun because it has 32 player's online.The graphics makes the game look realistic and makes the guns look realistic.The campain is good with the story line.The weapons you get to play with are great and they have secondary fires

This title has it all, amazing controls, visuals that are gorgeous and scary, creatures with unique abilities and weapons, standard WW2 weapons and the Chimeras, and great campaign as well as multiplayer.

Ok, first of all, I own Nintendo Wii, which I bought first, 360 which I got next, and I got the PS3 last. I played every other fist person shooter under the sun for all the systems until I got Resistance with my new PS3. This game is mind blowing !!! I think this is one of the best exclusive titles I have ever played. IM NOT BEING A FANBOY !! This game is definitely better than Halo 3. Its kinda like mixing Call of Duty 4 with Gears of War. The graphics and the gunplay are so beautiful and the game runs so smoothly. I love everything about this game and the Chimeras are some bad ass monsters. This game and Turok are my two current favorites. I highly recommend this game, it's definitely a reason to buy PS3 and basically is a major reason why I now own one.

A promising launch title, that failed to ever even start off. As the game begins, you find yourself being Sergeant Hale, a stoic, quiet soldier fighting against the Chimera, a mysterious alien race trying to take over earth. The game itself is a solid fps, that is missing specific necessities in bringing it to perfection. For example, storyline. Being cliche, to say the least: you're the one man army that's humanity's last hope. Graphics at times are sub-par, the dark color scheme does the game no ease, I understand this is war, but even so, does it ALWAYS need to be dark everywhere? Enemies become repetitive, later in the game, you are thrown into situations against over-aggressive AI that never seems to not know where you are. This game doesn't deserve the credit it gets. If you've yet to play this game, and are running out of options - give it a rental to kill some time before MSG 4, or Army of Two, and until then, try and keep yourself busy from playing as the savior of humanity again. Keyword: AGAIN.

Overview:Resistance fall of man is a F.P.S (first person shooter) set in the WW2 era but with a twist instead of fighting Nazi's you are pitted against a strange alien threat known as the "Chimera" because of this the game is a mesh of WW2 era weaponry and scenery and neo-futuristic this makes for a new and interesting twist on the tried and tested F.P.S formula There are 3 ways of playing resistance they are: 1 Player Campaign:Resistance is unusal among first person shooters in that the way you play is a large factor in the game at first you'll only have at your disposal normal weaponry but as the game goes on you get more and more imaginative ways of killing your enemies this helps keep the game interesting the A.I of the bots is challenging enough to keep you playing and all in all the campaign is very good the only flaw is that if your not a flexible player you will find parts very hard Co-op Campaign: The co-op in resistance is very well pulled off it is identical to the 1 player campaign other then the addition of a second player the ability to heal downed teammates but also if the situation calls for it wait for 35 seconds for them to re-spawn is very helpfull all in all this campaign is even more fun then the 1 player version Multiplayer: This can be played offline or online with offline been 4 players at the most i am yet again dissapointed by the lack of mulitplayer bots on another otherwise amazing F.P.S but it can still be good as long as you ahve the sense to pick one of the smaller maps.Online it can have a maximum of 4o players! making it a frantic but very fun game to play. Re-play value: Once you have completed the game once you may chose to re-play with the addition of a second wheel of weapons the campaign is well worth playing again especailly with this addition also if you want to unlock cheats then getting the skill points some of which are real challenges is a must pair this with an online that rarely gets boring you have a game you can play for years to come. Overall::With smooth graphics an expansive campaign and a very fun online experience Resistance Fall Of Man is a must have if you own a PS3

a great first person shooter that should not be passed up. the multiplayer is goood and a vey well done story line. easily the best game on the ps3
