Colton White is deffinately The 1880's wild west bad ass, You don't get a lot of western style shoot um up games, but the only one that stands out the best is "Gun"...Though playstation still lacks good detail and color scheem in there platforms, that wasn't enough to stop me from considering it one of the best third person shooter's i've ever play'd, and I choose this older title because im sick of hearing people bashing it's fun factor and what not. The control's are easy managable, smooth as a baby's bottom. It has a very interesting story line..It's not like the other predictable crap it actually keeps you guessing, like in the beggening when Colton find's out Ned isn't his real father, who woulda guess'd before close to the end that the doctor mugrudder killed was his actually pop pop. Nice authentic weaponary from the wild west times. Fun and helpful side missions. Deputy federal marshal and bounty mission's very nice. If your quick with the thumbs quickdraw is an awesome and very helpful feature. After filling and enemy with your six shooter or a few rifle rounds, I love how you can scalpe them or just blow there head apart like a watermelon, as they lie there heaving there death breathe or crawling, Im mean the indians lie there and prey to there god's as they close there eyes to meet jesus. Upgrades are pretty amazing. All and all the fun factor is deff a 5.0, storyline 4.75, control's 5.0 and replay value is a deff 5.0...So for all of those that crap'd on this game like you just ate from taco bell...It's either because you were to stupid to know how to build your stats and BUY upgrades...duuuhhh what's the gold for? and just quit on it, or your just simply a bandwagon poser going along with the crowd, tisk tisk and you call yourself a gamer. So I tilt my hat to you Colton, And if you ever need a loyal man to saddle up with, im your guy.

GUN! What a great game! Great story, graphics, gameplay, everything is just superb! Fun to ride around on your horse and kill the bad guys with blood flying everywhere!

This is an alright adventure/action game. The graphics are decent, and it has a good story with good cinema displays. Western style cowboy and Indian games isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it.

Damn this game is as fun as hell Graphics 4.0: The game has some nice faces but fails when it comes to framerate. The game is so damn slow sometimes. I could have ran to Timbuck tu and back before I got to where I had to go in the game However, nice Job Sound: Great sound. I love the soundtrack and the voiceovers. They really immerse you into the story. Gameplay 5.0: I found myself sucked into the game for hours, unlocking everything and playing every difficulty twice. This game has a lot to offer. So don't waste your money on Red dead revolver. Instead, go waste your money on this. 5/5

This game is excellent; great story, characters, and voice acting. Also the animations aint to shabby. The main character (Colton) is on his way to avenge his dead father (Ned). THQ is well known for their Tony Hawk, but now there is GUN. Horseback rding and shooting is fluid and more responsive, and on foot is difficult to say the least. Of all the new series and releases on the systems, this is a definent pick-up. The only reason it doesn't it doesn't get a perfect score is that the AI is pretty dull, just standing in the middle of the road wanting to taste some lead. Also there is some pop-up, for example, you might be riding extremely fast, trying to get away from some indians, then all of a sudden ten more pop up in front of you. And when there is more than 10 people on screen on once, the frame rate chugs like a college freshman. But the great things justify the bad.

GUN was a very good game. The graphics were great as well as the storyline.The only problem i had with this game was that it was too short. I was able to beat the game in 3 days but the good thing was that after i beat it i could still travle around and do the side missions. I really did get my moneys worth and i can recomend this game. I really would have liked to see a more open ended game however. I thought it would be a fable like story where i could go good or bad but sadly these choices didnt effect the story line. Although these are dissapointment they are minor ones compared to the awsomeness of the game. Feel free to get this one.

From the moment you see cowboy racing through the desert reciting the "Our Father", you know there's gonna be some action. The game starts as a father and son going hunting in the woods. Your father explains to you the controls. One of the features of the game is Quickdraw mode. With this, you can aim and blast away your opponents in sweet, sweet slo-mo. This is handy if you're surrounded by enemies and low on health. So, anyway, you and your dad, Ned, are on a boat that gets ambushed. The whole level, you have to blast away probably more than fifty pirates. You're dad gives you instructions to go see a gril named Jenny in the town of Dodge. He continues to fight off pirates as you jump in the river and the steamboat explodes and kills everybody. I would give you more info but I don't want to spoil anything. But I will say that you meet two other cowboys in jail named Port and Soapy. You break out and free them and you become partners. "Gun" is a great game with great music and great controls. The only thing I don't like is that the game is so open, that you wish you could go faster. Here your character is going slowly through a huge open-ended level. You could steal horses Grand Theft Auto style, but be careful because you could actually ride your horse to death. This game is fantastic and solid. It's got great twists. It's not something you'd expect from the guys who the T.H.P.S., T.H.U.G., ans T.H.A.W. series. It's greatly addicting and sure to be a hit.
