When My Bro Played Saints Row it was good I liked the Guns like The Assault Rifle and the rocket launcher cant wait for Saints Row 2

Fun game, reminded me SOOOO much of gta but after playing gta IV i still like Saints Row more... Yea its not as graphical and what not but i honestly don't care i look at core gameplay also.. and it kept me interested..

Saint's Row is the best type of RPG shooting game ever since I have played GTA SanAndreas!!! The graphics are awesome and I love the way they set up the system to get a weapon. This game is totally addicting especially for customizing cars( it might be different for you). I have weird feelings about how it ended but I won't reaveal anything because someone may be reading this who hasn't played the game yet. Overall this is a major must buy!!! 5 out of 5!!

I jut bought this game because I was tired of the everyday military shooter. The graphics were on par with opther games. They weren't over the top, but for the size of the environment, they were pretty good. The controls were awesome. While driving, the player can shoot 360 degrees around the car, not just left or right like in GTA. The only thing that I found a little annoying about them was the inability to change the active weapon while on the run. The gameplay was great. It was pretty much GTA but with a LOT more things to do. Even after the main story is completed, there are still countless hours of side missions and three bonus story missions! The only thing I found that let me down was the lack of boats or choppers. The story was cinematic as hell. Playing this game, I thoguht "Holy crap, I could be in a gangster movie." It has comedy, drama, a truck load of action, and so much more that can't be described in this review. Replay value is a little on the low side, unfortunately. While playing some of the side missions again might be fun, I found that I couldn't even get through the main story a second time, let alone a third or fourth. But if you just want to shoot people and steal cars senselessly then it's good for a quick play now and again. Overall, you should definitely play this game. Buy it, don't rent it.

I bought this game because I couldn't wait for the real deal. When I got it I got a little disappointed. Graphics looks like something a PS2 could do better and the story is not good and doesn't catch you like GTA. Also the respect missions you have to do to make the missions are really boring. And It is annoying that you have to make like 3 of them before every single mission. There aren't many of the main missions and when they are done the game aint worth playing no more. You feel no difference between driving a truck or a small car, they drive the same! They drive ecually slow. If you haven't played all the Grand Theft Auto games yet, don't buy this. And if you have, wait for GTA4.

At first this game reminded me a lot of Grand Theft Auto. But after a few minutes i decided that this game is a better all around experience. The targeting is a lot better for starters. This game has none of that auto targeting in it so all the targeting is left up to the player which i think is a lot better. The game world also seems more full and more busy then most of Grand theft auto. Everywhere you go there are people doing their own thing. Police chase gang members and people talk to eachother. The one issue i did notice that was a little annoying though was the fact that the traffic was so unpredictable. It is almost impossible to go anywhere in a car and not have it damaged by some random driver doing something stupid that causes you to wreck into them. I found myself quite often being slammed into by a car that didn't even notice that i was driving thorough the light when they got there. No matter how careful you are you get run into a lot. None of the drivers seem to notice you. You could just as well be completely invisible. The missions vary in difficulty but the good thing about them is that if you die in the mission it asks you if you want to restart the mission instead of just putting you in front of the nearest hospital, which i thought was nice. Some of the longer missions should have checkpoints though. All in all this game is a great investment. You might want to invest in the strategy guide if you really want to find all the little extras that this game has in it. Even with the strategy guide this game took me more then 60 hours.

Ok, this is a direct GTA rip off. Now, I am a huge GTA fan, so it's better than nothing. Still has a open world like GTA, but is missing helicopters, planes, motorcycles, and a bit of the charm that made GTA such a hit. But what it rips off, it does pretty well. There are no other good gta clones on the next gen systems yet. So if you feel that sandbox urge, this is the only real choice you have.

i thought this would be like GTA but it's just one of those games that make you not want to play it.it just sucks okay trust me
