Wow. I bought this game on it's release date and I do have to say it doesn't dissapoint. The action along with the cinematics are great and Kai is such a cool addition. Those who say they don't like this game and rate it a 2 have got to be xbox fan boys just writing in. Yes, it's not the longest game in the world and I don't mind telling you when a game suck. This one does not fail to entertain. Even at it's worse I could not see why someone would ever give it less than a 3. If there dissapointed about the length. And as far as anyone that would say it's a gow clone, so what! That's one of the best games of our time. If they are going to copy one I'm glad it's that one. About the only thing bad I have to say is it took me a bit to figure out the six axis and Kai's bow. Once I learned it I thought it was fun. What a great story and the acting is top notch. Heavenly Sword is an awsome game that although not quite as great as God of War, is a great game in it's own right. First of all the cutscenes are are absolutely gorgeous and very well acted out and even a certain level of humor was added to some of the characters. Nariko, the herione comes off as a person that no matter if she has the Heavenly Sword or not, you don't want to be on her bad side. Second is the gameplay which can be great for the button masher but at the same time the advanced player can pull off some wicked combos. The games only faults are small ones. Sometimes the beating of the same characters can get monotenous and the game is a little on the short side, but make no mistake about it, this is a game that no PS3 owner should pass up.

I've ly playe toua couple levels and I just want to touch on one thing. The emotional attachment that is achieved in this game is unreal. I truly can feel what the characters feel, i thought the motion capture thing would not do a whole lot, but i am wrong, the facial expressions and body movements make you feel as if you are watching real people. Simply amazing feature, and i think this should be talked about more, because this is one of the VERY FEW games that has made me actually FEEL emotion for a character.

I love this game...the graphics are amazing and the cut scenes are truly breathtaking...this is a must own for all PS3 owners.

I have only try the very very very short demon on the internet and i love it so much.Pretty nice animation,i'm so intended to play the full version.For now,i don't know if i'm gonna buy it,but i'll play it for sure.The 1sst person view like for arrow,body,bazzoka or bodies is so original and a good feelin. play it and let the blood be shread

The game was fun but the experience ended too quickly. This game did show the compabilities of the cell processor's artificial intelligience it didn't have a lot dumb enemies.

I'll make this review short just like the game. It looks fun but its just too much of an old thing. Sure it has a new coat of paint and a new hero but its also only 7 hours long and plays just like a PS2 game. More time should have been spent on this game to distance it from an already well known and loved franchise. Its a lot like Harvest moon a wonderful life and Harvest moon another wonderful life. Exact same gameplay with a gender switch. Of course you dont need quality in your game on PS3, its not like you have options at this time so this game will sell well. Hopefully well enough to actually warrant a decent game in the sequel.

Decent game, nice graphics and background visuals, but the combat is alittle clunky and nowhere on par with Kratos in God of War. Some of the combos are neat but not interesting enough to keep you hooked like you were with Kratos in God of War.

AHHHHH THE CUT SCENES LOOK GREAT THATS IT !!!THE GAME IS A BUTTON MASHER I HATE GAMES THAT A 3 YEAR OLD CAN PICK UP AND BEAT !!!
