very fun 4 on the go. need more levels & bosses .hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha halo3 is fun

Mario games have been around for years, but none of them can compete with the original side-scrolling adventure games that focused on simple platforming gameplay and collecting power ups. This of course, is not to knock the efforts of the recent Mario Galaxy, a great title. I did, however, miss the old school days of Mario, were simplicity was the key, and this title brings that back.
The graphics are standard Mario backgrounds with new 3d Mario models as well as enemies. Bright and colorful. The sound is full of classic Mario Music and old school sound effects that bring back good memories from gaming's past. The controls are tight and Mario is a breeze to control. I don't think Mario can have bad contols lol, the game is so simple. The story is just the typical Bowser captures Princess Peach and it's up to you to rescue her. Gameplay is just classic side scrolling Mario with lots of Power ups all over the place that enhances the fun factor by giving yo some awesome, powerful abilities, like turning into Giant Mario.
Overall, this is a great, fun DS game that is perfect for quick plays when your on the go. It may not have a deep narrative, but it will keep you playing through it over and over due to it's timeless gameplay and appeal!

New Super Mario Bros. is great because of the adventure and story is awesome in the game. I even like the minigames and play with someon cause it is fun.

Seriously, who doesn't love Mario. This one of the first new traditional side scrolling Mario adventure in a good while. I had to buy it. Got it for $15 used. Soo....

Story: You know the drill, Princess Peach is captured by Bowser and his minion and Mario must go save the day! Not much of a narrative, I agree, but it's classic.

Graphics: An interesting take on a side scroller. It's 3D graphics within a 2d context. I think it looks great, especially when Mario goes super size! It's a classic, colorful Mario adventure.

Sound: Of course all the famous Mario music from previous games has returned! It's just as good as ever.

Gameplay: Typical Mario, you do alot of jumping, be it on platforms, or enemy heads. Their are alot of power ups as well such as, fire mario, mini mario, turtle mario, ect. that make the game more fun. Also, I can't forget the great catalog of mini games within the game. They will keep you busy and competing with friends for hours!

This game is one of the best games to pick up when you are on the go. If you are a mario fan this is a must for your collection.

I love how Mario continuously reinvents himself. This time he is larger than life for the DS. It was like a religious experience in terms of being an upgrade to the original version, but it seems like the next logical step in the series. I bought the system for Zelda, but will continue to play mario for a long time.

probably the best ds game i have and if u like super mario bros u will love this game the bosses are not all bowser this time but he is the final boss and its a great boss battel and anter good thing is that it has some new power ups and all this mixed toghter makes this a great game and a must buy
