mario kart ds is most definitly one of the best games for the ds. sure the graphics are not that good but hey the wifi, characters, karts, missions, and wireless multiplayer mode that can host up to 8 people is awesome and definitly makes up for it. mario kart ds is one game that will make you keep playing it even when mario kart wii comes out. that is how great it is.

it never gets boaring. i had it for a year and i still play it. its a bust buy if you dont already have it.

Graphics:4.00 THe graphics department could use some upgrading, but the game after all is , understandably, on the DS. If you get too close to a wall you will see squares of colour, otherwise, they are all right. Controls: 4.50 The controls feel natural and flow easily, although sometimes they tend to be unresponsive. Single Player: 4.00 After completing the Grand Prix and Missions, theirs not much left to do. Can you find the hidden seventh level? Multiplayer: 4.50 The WiFi connection makes it that much better, although more than not you will play with a hacker who tends to disappear and reappear four miles ahead of you, not making for any fun. If you play on wireless connection, you can play with up to eight players! That's better than any of the consoles for split-screen. Fun Factor: 5.00 Mario Kart is a great casual game, with enough unlockables for a hardcore gamer to go nuts over. To unlock everything would pretty much be impossible. You can pick this game up for about $50 pretty much in any place games are sold. Enjoy Mario Kart DS!

The game is good. The controls dont feel as smooth as I would like, but the visuals are on part with MK 64

Mario Kart is a racing game for the nintendo ds, it is the latest in a long list of games in the series, The first thing i noticed when i started playing this game is the presentation which is immaculate and the graphics which are very impressive for the handheld, i the classic multiplayer fun of the series is here in spades as well as a higher than usual track count, lovers of this series will also be happy to know that many classic tracks from the older games in the series have returned (4 tracks from each previous game are available) track design is extremely good for the most part and many of the tracks are better made than any previously in the series, internet play is available and also vary fun, there is very little slow down, my only issue is that it can take quite a long time to find players ocasionally. custom Avatars are a very welcome addition to the game that i thought worth mentioning also. Anyone that like mario kart needs to buy this game.

Mario kart ds: This is so far my favorite one withh all those Retro stages, like in the good'ol days and the new levels are great too withh great players and karts and I also like the wifi, its great if you wanna see your skills in action.Im about to pss the game, but mirror mode took me on suprise i choose that game personally .

this is a good mario racing game i loved it it was the first game i bought for my ds and is killed alot of time if you have a ds this is a must have

this game is one of the best games ever! I love this game but when you get to he 150cc races in the grand prix it's really hard not to get an E rank.

Well i guess its like the only racing game in the DS but whatev. I like it alot though, i like the speed, the characters, the mix of old skool and new age levels and definitely the online play. The only drawback is that online takes FOREVER to load up, but is fun nevertheless. I'm gonna say if you don't have it and you have a DS, your are definitely a scientologist.
