Animal Crossing....where to begin..Well, I can't come up with a snippy introduction, lets move to the good stuff.
Story-... or lack thereof. There is no story to speak of, save for the first 8 minutes of the game, where you move into town and your backstory is explained. After that, the story is suddenly left behind as the rest of the game moves on. You get a few tidbits here and there, but you can't really call those story. But who needs one in a "simulated-living game", honestly?
Gameplay- Well, you can't call this gameplay as much as gamework, since that is all this part of the game is directed at. Nothing beyond doing menial labor for lazy animals who need to stop eating so much fruit! The most fun out of this section is the ability to hit your neighbors with your net, though it will leave you wanting to use the axe on them so they can deliver their own gifts. The other fun factor of this part is the gifts they give you...Rarely is work unrewarded. But mostly, all the gameplay can be summed up as run, work, run, work, run, buy; in a repeating cycle that will last the rest of the game.
Audio/Visual- No complaints from here. The music is nice to listen to, and somewhat catchy. Especially K.K. Sliders little concerts. He and his songs are very good, and add a nice element to the game. And they add a wonderful addition to your house's ambiance. As for graphics, nothing remarkable. Cute, of course, since that is what they were shooting for. The clothes and furniture really shine in contrast. They are very nice on the eyes, and can really add detail to the game.
In conclusion, the game is a solid title. The casual approach might turn people off, or the responsibility to care for an entire town. The game can become a chore if made out to be. The gameplay can become repetitive by the 3rd day of playing, and you will only be interested in getting furniture and bigger housing from that point. Multiplayer is a little fun, especially with 4 people around. But nothing exciting or surprising. The interior decorating and the content (furniture, clothing, fish/insects, music, and rooms) are the best parts of the game, but there is only so much one can take before having to pop in a actual game.

When I first got a Gamecube, my first game I got was Animal Crossing, I loved it dearly and have played ever since, of course I am very 1337, but I'm not bragging (I'm not SUPER GOOD but pretty dang good). But with the release of AC Wild World...let me just review this game for you. Wild World is similar to the original on GC but has a lot of diffrences. You come to your town in a cab...a cab? Are you kidding me? That takes all the homeliness out of it!!! Also, graphics are like NES on steroids if I may say. WW charms you at first because your thinking, "Oh this is gonna be like an awesome sequel..YAY" when really its like, they took AC, crammed it into a meat grinder, and took out all the not so grinded bits! In the game, you have hair, and after you work extremely hard to get Nookington's you get a hair salon! But you can still wear your hat thing if you want. Also, the DS Pad makes it harder to do things like shovel and such, also flowers can die! One good thing about WW is, you can wear accesories and such. You can also use WiFi to play with others...which only really a couple of recorded peole have done *laughs*. In this game, Blathers (the bug-a-phobic museum owner) has a sister unlike in AC where he is alone all the time...it has a sad ring to it I know. Also, to make matters worse, there is a coffee bar under the museum called "The Roost" now doesn't that make you think of the antisocial Blathers sad about everyone going to the bar instead of the museum?! Did he get a say?! The game brings back Able Sisters, and you can actually form a friendship with the quiet sister (which you might be able to do in AC too, I'm not sure). Also, Gracike returns a little less gouche...but still kind of pain. And who could forget K.K. Slider? He is really the only nice part of the game they didn't change, furniture is also more excesible and it is more decrative, but still crappy. I think Nintendo should have thought twice about deep frying AC and making a saturated-fat marvel that is Animal Crossing: Wild World I believe that Nintendo should

i have to say that this is one of the best games of all time. i dont know if its better that the gc version...but it is sure up there. first of all the game play is awsome, and everything flows smoothly. you do basically the same thing you did in the original version (work for nook to pay off your house.) but the cool thing is the way you can really do anything. the best part is the wifi. going to ppls towns is one of the coolest things ever. but there are friendcodes. overall it is a must buy for any ds owner!
Just a fun game

Animal crossing wild World is really just a fun diversion from reality. The characters are colorful and diverse, the environment is very pleasing to look at, and your freedom is virtually unlimited. You can fish, bug hunt, dig for fossils, plant a flower garden, collect seashells, talk to all the vivid animals in your town, and just have a all around good time. On a more technical aspect, the graphics are very good, very happy, kind of cartoonish. They could have been a bit more polished, though. The controls are fairly good, buttons could have been a little more sensitive. The different control schemes work better or worse, depending on what you're doing. Music is good but not a lot of variety. You can pick up more tunes as the game progresses. One thing i didn't like was that you needed to exchange friend codes with some one before you can see their town. It's only a small thing so i wouldn't worry to much about it. Overall, if you are looking for a fun and vivid game ACWW is the game for you.
COOL GAME

Animal Crossing really(I mean REALLY!)wants you to save your game.If you don't an angry mole will yell at you and talk about how he has anger issue. He'll say"Since it's your fist time I'll let this go but if it happens again, bye bye saved data!"So if you're up to a high part in the game, don't risk it!(Trust me,the mole is the worst part!)
Still a great game

Its been over a year and I still find myself playing Animal Crossing Wild World for the Nintendo DS. The game has so many options that keeps you coming back to play it. I am always changing the design and look of my town. If you have a chance i recomend picking this one up ay your local game store
