Resident evil 4 is an amazing game from the start of the game it's one hellacious rollercoaster ride, with more than enough enemies to blast away but not only were they smart, they adapted. like if you shot one in the head and it didn't die, it would block it's face. Now in what game thus far have the enemies been so damn smart? in short an amazing game everyone should own it.not to mention the replay value is enormous I'm still playin it even though I beat the crap outta it weeks ago.

I own both the Cube and PS2 versions and I'm very happy with both. The PS2 takes a small hit in graphics and sound but nothing to write home about. I'm glad Capcom took it in a new direction because they literally raised the franchise from the dead. Replay is extremely high and new bonuses on the PS2 version. The PS2 version seems harder than the Cube's too. RE5 looks to be another big hit on next gen systems. Now if Capcom will please release Dino Crisis with the new RE4 engine, can you imagine what that would be like?

The moment I heard that RE4 was coming to the PS2, I knew it would be all the things that made the GameCube version so popular to make it one of the greatest games of 2005. I was right in my assessment, and the Seperate Ways section was exceptional and well done. The extra costumes for Leon and Ashley were both comical and useful in gameplay, and the new weapons blew me away. THe controls were responsive and spot on and aiming was easy once you got used to it. My only gripe was that the camera angles could have been a little better. It was frustrationg to see some enemy hit me when I didn't see him coming. All in all, this was a great game well worth its reputation and deserving its score.

Unbelievable game! Most intense,fun game I've played in YEARS! This is by far one of the best PS2 games(graphic wise) to come out since "GOD OF WAR"!

The most amazing shooter I've ever played. The enviroments from the spanish towns to huge castle have amazing detail and suck you in. The boss battles are amazing and there are plenty of them. I love the lengthy game too...it took me about 23 hours of gameplay to finish it. I've already played through it 3 time and hardly ever replay games.

This is the best Resident Evil game available on the Playstation2 system! There is nothing not to like about it. The graphics are sleek, the controls are perfect, and the unique over-the-shoulder cam is flawless! You play as Leon Kennedy and have to make your way through a village to save the presidents daughter. However it isn't zombies who are after you this time! Instead it is an angry host of villagers who are in a cult and are out to get you if you step in their way! Take them on using an array of different weapons! Small guns or big guns, either way you'll have to make it past the El Gigante and evil cult leader to beat the game. The villagers are smart and dilligent, no slow moving zombies here! You'll really have to plan out your attacks if you want to beat the enemy and save the girl!

Talk about better... but graphics, well, it's the PS2... it's an old school system... in that sort... definitely... it's a god game, I'm proud of it.

The first time I played this on the Gamecube I cryed because it wasnt on PS2. Now it is and it is ... to good to be true. The graphics are fantastic not as good as the Gmaecubee but still Frigg'in great and they have added some loading screens but they're short so dont worry. They have alot added extras like more costumes and the best extra The separate ways mission where you play as Ada which is cool. Dont get me started on the gameplay... Anywho it is one of those great games!

i was able to rent this the day it came out. i was blown away, the controls were smooth, and the graphics were the best i had seen yet on the PS2. therer were also tons of cool moments, like taking off the heads of three villagers with one shotgun blast, or decapitating the cultist leader with my broken butterfly. i reccomend this game for anyone who is a RE fan, or just likes being scared.
