This game is so much fun, I could not stop. Where can you play a zombie game, and the weapons used can range fom anything from a zombies are to a chainsaw to good old guns. I have never put so many zombies into the ground, and see so much blood on the ground and on myself. Also you can put you guy in the dumbest outfits.

Now, zombies are practically my favorite thing to kill, and the very thought of a game that drops you into a mall full of them to let you "have your way with them" (Erotica! High PP!) is enough to get me all hot and bothered. But there were so many things in this game that were easily fixable- or obviously a bad idea to do to any gamer- that were left in. There was the save system, which worked so that there are absolutely no checkpoints and instead you have to go to the bathroom or sleep to save it. As fun as having to play the whole game over again because I forgot to pee, or having to go back two hours into the game because I got run over by the fuckers in the jeep, replaying is just not my favorite thing. The zombies were too easy to kill, and last time I checked I couldn't lift an entire bench. You think with that kind of raw manpower Frank West could just punch the shit out of every zombie in there. But you can't. You can however, kill them with bags of chips. My first kill was with a bag of chips, I remember it well. The first kill. That was a long paragraph, a very long rant of a paragraph, so I'm separating it now, even though it's not necessary because I'm still on the same subject. But seriously, why is it when an entire town gets run over by zombies the only people left alive are a bunch of people so inept they need you to defend them, or a bunch of psychopaths that want to kill you? As much as I love killing zombies, I can just not stand when games are made poorly in some departments and well in others. No amount of good graphics or great concept can save this. Dead Rising? More like Poor Production Rising. *spits*

I picked up Dead Rising for one reason and one reason only, to kill zombies. And this game certainly heaps up loads of that. The large assortment of weapons that you can use offers various ways to lay waste to undead horde. Anything from a pistol to a chainsaw and everything in between. My personal favorite is the katana, one swipe of that and zombies just fly apart in a beautiful spray of blood. Love it!! I've owned it for about a month now and really haven't begun to attempt to finish the story of it. I'm glad that Capcom took the next step from Resident Evil and upped the zombie violence. I only had two complaints about the game. The first is not the developers fault, it was simply the small unreadable text. But that was because of lack of funds to afford a HDTV, and I have learned to deal with it. And the other complaint was the always annoying Otis, and him calling every two seconds. I understand that it is a launching pad for your secondry missions but he gets very annoying in a hurry. All in all, it is a great game. And if you are as big as fan of zombies as I am, you must play this at least once. Let's hope that the zombie horde will find more victims to come back in Dead Rising 2.
Dead Rising is a great XBOX 360 title, despite some flaws.

Zombies are some of peoples favourite types of monsters. Dawn of the Dead and other movies take zombies and can scare the life out of you. Zombies are also quite popular in the video gaming industry. Capcom's hit video game series Resident Evil is the top zombie series around. There are many scares and action in this games to make it worth the money. Capcom took a different approach with Dead Rising. Instead of doing a dark world with a few zombies, they took a light world with many, many, many zombies. In Dead Rising, you play as a reporter hoping to get a story. You learn about something strange going about in a small town. It has been blocked from the outside world. When you get there, you see many zombies there. You then take cover in a mall, hoping you will be safe there. However, it turned out to be the wrong move, as the mall is stuffed fill of zombies. You must survive for 72 game hours in this mall, both alive and with a great story. In Dead Rising, it is very wide open. Perhaps the single greatest part of Dead Rising is what you can use as weapons. You can use almost anything in the mall as a weapon, such as guitars, guns, chainsaws, gumball machines, coat hangers, soccer balls, plastic heads..... there are too many to name. It is extremely fun using anything you find as a weapon, something I've been waiting for, for a long time. Best part is, your in a mall, so there is an endless supply of what you can use as a weapon. Another good thing to do in the game is to take various pictures about the incident in the mall. Some are very basic, such as a large group of zombies. You can also take really odd pictures. A couple of times, I put plastic toy heads on a zombie, watch it stumble around a bit, and take a few pictures. It isn't necessary to win, but it still is great to do. There are also many side-quests you can do in the game. Many of them are rescue missions that you can do in the game, such as take survivors from point A to B. There are also some survivors that aren't so friendly. The one thing that makes me mad about this game is the saving. You can only have one at a time, so it kind of feels like Pokemon, and having to watch the beginning over and over. Plus, you can only save once in the game. Thats right, once. So choose wisely. Overall, despite some saving problems and a lack of replay value, Dead Rising is a fun game to have in your collection for a bit, and it would be smart to invest some of your money in this game.

Though dead risings crappy story made me cry the vast number if stupid and slow zombies was just askin to try out my killing talents. You play a reporter Frank West investigating a Mall in a town swarming with zombies. But their were so many clech's to the game that it was lame,{spoiler alert}After a bunch of twist and turns it turns out to be a resident evil parody, but somewhere they put in a bunch of Phyco's , pissed off goverment and some crazy carribean people. And the unlockable modes add even more mind joggering twist and turn.but a few of the features I liked was the ability to slay with anything, the abilty to do WTF you want and still beat the game, and of course did I mention the abilty to slay with zombies with anything. Also Infinty mode was a waste of trying, you cant save, you can only carry so much food, and lose health every 5 game mins, who the hell gets hngry after 5 mins. If your looking for mindless fun come hear,If your looking for somethin Intelligent go somewhere else

Ok this why white people always put them selves in life or death situtions.(Ok let me down, what are you crazy,i want some pictures, fine you got three days, right thanks.) Cut cut now this is why a black man stays out of life and death but still dies. (Yo pilot did you see that ho fall off the building do you see people eating people get me the F*** out of here now, right what the get off the helicopter, holy s**t man these zombies are over the plane, were going down, Oh S**t boom.) See the white man goes into dangerous situations and live the black tries to get a way and still die it's a damn shame but the game is good and funny but after you find every thing to do and beat the game it will get boring slowly but surely.

ull have fun. it has a cool freeroaming story mode and the possiblities r huge! u play 72 hours in a mall filled with zombies and u r a photographer.the graphics r good. one bad thing though is the survivor AI is awful and the aiming system sucks. but if u like action or freeroaming games i recomend this.
