Oblvion is a tremendous role-playing adventure. It is simply massive in scale, and puts the sandbox juggernaut GTA to shame. You will quickly find yourself immersed in a living, breathing world with punishments for your actions, either good or evil, and rewards for your good, and bad, deeds. It was recently re-rated M for Mature by the ESRB, and while i usually do not agree with the ESRB, I have to say this is one of their smarter decisions. There is a lot of blood and the Dark Brotherhood missions require you to be a murderer, albeit that these people are either complete scumbags or are merely suffering in their final days, and these missions are NOT a requirement of the game. However, I would not say parents should be overly worried about their preteen playing this game, as it does require a lot of thinking and is not as violent as most T-rated games out there. Overall it is an excellent game with a lot of action and strategy involved, but be warned. Oblivion is a massive and beautiful game and thus, is subject to either a slow frame rate or periods of complete freezing.

To play a game that gives you so must freedom to explore I ever wonder if their will be expantions to explore even more ? I give this game two thumbs and two big toes up !

Amazing graphics, great story and lots of fun, although loading times are real frequent besides that it's a must have game for the Xbox 360

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is a must have title for the Xbox 360. From the very start of the game you will see the improved graphics and soon you will see that the battle combat has improved since the last Elder Scrolls game. The character design system is very good and you will find out that you can make your character just the way you want in their standards. There are alot of Species that you can choose from as well. The main quest is very good as well, you will discover the secrets of the land and you will live the life of your character the way you want. There are many side quest that you can perform and find many weapons, amror and spells. If you dont want to do the main quest you can also join many quilds and perform quest for them and get paid for your achievements. As you play the game you will see the difference how your character perform while he levels up. While you play Oblivion you might not want to do everything that is on your mind, like you wouldnt want to steal, kill or breaking inside someones house unless you think you can pull it off without getting caught. Maybe a Spoiler: While you progress through the game you might be encountered with a vampire. you can be infected by it and will become one within three days. As a vampire you can bite the necks of other civilians while they sleep so you can roam around at day time. Groups like the Darkbrotherhood will accept you when you are at your last form in a vampire state. I think the Game is an excellent role playing game for the 360 and you should get your hands on it whenever you have the chance to. I play the game everyday and I never get bored of it because you will stay occupied the whole time.

this game is almost perfect..on paper its a dream but when you play it..it has its ups and downs... the graphics top notch... sound everything excellent . like the fighting even though still a little cheesy it waaaaaaaaaaaay better than morrowind.but the glitches man..god damm.....when you cant complete a quest because of some glitch it gets down right annoying..... its like im playing a incomplete greate game... and this thing they call RADIENT AI ....what a big name for something so underwhelming..and unimpressive.yea its a good step in the right directiong when you compare it to morrowinds ai but ..i seen characters that sort of act this way....in games like grandtheft auto..shenmue..and a few others.. the ai dont seem radiant.. they seem...like robots still.. its a very good step in the right direction though but not enough in my oppion.. it would be nice to see people pick up weapons when you drop then.... slow downs..glitches... and a unimpressive RADIANT AI system ...kept this game from being perfect...however i still love this game and all that besthesda has done for their fans and newcomers...just keep it up and next time i know you guys will get it absolutely right...... people say its impossible to make the perfect game but besthesda almost had it...

I can't really say anything about this game that hasn't been said already. Yes it has unbelievable graphics, endless exploration, a great main story, blah blah blah... So what I will do is try to disprove a point that has been made by many people about this game. These people say that the sheer amount of possibilities will overwhelm you, but I think they underestimate the fortitude of the average gamer. Trust me, one doesn't need an IQ of 150 just to get a grasp on this game. It is easily accessible to all gamers, whether they're into armed combat, magic use, stealth, or simple exploration. All you have to do is start walking in any direction to enjoy this game. Believe me, if you ignore Oblivion just because you don't think you'll understand how to play it correctly, you're missing out, since there is no right or wrong way to play. If you try it and hate it, then at least you'll know. But if you try it and like it, you'll be very thankful that you did.

Elder scrolls oblivion is just about the best rpg ever made it has everything you could want in terms of character and world items and advisarys, but its fall backs are the glitches and annoyances scattered throughout the game I mean seriously should a rat be able to stumble a level 20 guy whos agility is 65 with every hit sometimes it does happen. a few other glitches i have had the misfourtune of seeing is having the whole game freeze after going through a door and coming out the other side invisible and frozen in place with the controller unresponsive, items in my inventory vanishing after a load screen ( i lost half a suit of highly enchanted daedric armor for cryin out loud!), and the ever presistant slowdown jeez sometimes it feels like the slowdown is to help enimes kill your dag gum horse! If bethesda would come out with patches it would be awesome but no they come out with horse armor, comon guys make some downloads that are really usefull. Now that my frustations have been aired the game when not buggin on you is one of the best RPG's ever made great story awesome player creation options ( though it takes a while to actually make a nord actually look human instead of orcish). The thing i love the most is the finite ways you can take your character example. My most powerfull character is a nord female level 37, strength 100, intelligence 110, willpower 100, agility 80, speed 56 endurance 100 ,personality 40, luck 50 ,master of blade block heavy armor ,expert of destruction and restoration ,and almost expert marksman. And the streamlined enchantments are much better i mean having armor that boosts your strength to almost 200 WOOOH nasty! well thats all i got to say bout that its a great game would be grand if not for the bugs. later......

This game is very fun and addictive, with hours and hours of game time. And it is replayable with all of it's options. Huge world to explore, tons of things to do. Belive me you will end up having to buy the strategy guide because there is something that you can't find. Only one thing, THE GAME IS VERY EASILY DAMAGED! You may here people complaining about how it crashes alot, and it will if you do not keep it in good conditon. Always take the game out of the disc drive before you turn it off. Don't turn the 360 from vertical to horizontal while its on and you should be fine. This is deffinetly worth buying.
