when the ps3 comes out, the 360 will be blown away!! The PS3 is going to be the best of the best of the next gen consoles.

Where do I start awesome graphics, cool games, superb features, sweet contoller, and everything you would ever want or need for teh perfect gaming console. What is there not to like hands down Sony has ruled the gaming world and from looking at PS3 I think it will saty that way for a long time.

Gameshadow the blu-ray is not pointless to people with wireless internet because otherwise it could go straight to the router and who knows what that will do also blu-ray is better because blu-ray doesent have to go in a straight line to get there it can curve i used to think the same as you did. also i just want to say if you had to choose the worst controller id choose the revolution controler it is very weird also the PS3 controller is just a better version of the PS2 controllerlike the Xbox 360's controller is just a better version than the xbox controller. i say the PS3 rocks like pancakes

Ok I just gave this a 5 because of all the Xbox fanboys racking out the 1's thinking with the new new's of the delay that they have won some prize. If anything it's better new's for the delay, as the HDD will be included. Backward's compatability goes back to the PS1 now as well which I am happy about because I don't have to hunt down and dust off my old PS. For the reviewer that stated does it play games? Check out Gamestop.com, there are 32 game's at this moment scedualed for release on the first of november. With such games as Tekken, Devil May Cry 4, Getaway 3, and GT5 (which look's mind blowing). And let's not for get Metal Gear Solid 4 with a early-December release date. All the game's that you might want to buy for the XB360 you can find on the XB,or PS2 with minorly less HD grafix but the same exact game. There are talk's about Halo 3 coming out in December,which don't get me wrong will undoubtedly be a sweet game.But if Killzone 2 (also a early nov. launch game) play's as good as it look's,it might just blow Halo right out of the water.Then there is talk's about Microsoft winning the console war with a year's head start.Hell mabee with the full year they finnally will have caught up to there backorder's.Now let's take a trip down memory lane to the last next gen up grade.The Dreamcast was released a full year before the PS2,and had awsome grafix and was fun to play.But they had a poor 3rd party game's coming out.There main seller was the 2k sport's series,and then you had some fun one's like Sonic,House of the Dead, and Jet Grind Radio.But when the PS2 was released all the system did was slowly die because they coulden't compete.For all of you seeing this XB360 with a full year advatage as a plus.Mabee should look at it as mabee they jumped the gun, because they were so afraid of the PS3 beating them to the store shelve's. And now it just look's as if though history is repeating itself all over again with the XB360 almost runing the same course as the DC.

Ok, I have an idea for you guys. See theres this mat, that you put on the floor... a jump to conclusions mat. On this mat there are conclusions written all over it and you can JUMP to different conclusions. The point is folks you need to sit back... relax.. and watch the fireworks. When the PS3 is released i've got a sneaking suspicion that it's going to dominate the market. The XBOX 360 is a decent system.. nothing spectacular and I assure you it wasn't worth standing in the freezing cold for 12 hours to obtain. Honestly the PS3 won't be either, so... let's give the PS3 a chance and hope that the time they are investing into the release is their effort to make sure that we won't have to do the aforementioned. Also consider this, Microsoft hasn't really released a whole lot of "Killer APPS" and they aren't going to anytime soon, sony has the ability and the licenses to produce a boat load of great games on launch and after and what's more.. they WILL!

I hate being right!....All you Sony Fanbois can wait another 8 months for a system that is going to cost waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. This is only the beginning though. Sony has already realized their severe mistakes; now Sony is going to rush out a product to satisfy the quelling and ps3 is going to come complete with many, many bugs. Like I said before, dont be fooled by loyalty. Sony dropped the controller on this one. Oh by the way...when the PS3 does come out...dont forget to shell out the additional $150 for the HD (cause games cant be saved without it...any game)..Before you know it, You fanbois are going to spend close to $650 just for one controller, console, and hd. What.....did you think it would be priced reasonably...HAHA...it costs sony $900 per just to manufacture.

Sony has outdone themselves this time. They've also outdone the average gamer. The PS3 is trying to be too many things at once and costing the gaming Joe their wallet. Gaming shouldn't be this expensive of a habit just for the sake of graphics.

The only thing they have ever shown is a boomerrang controller and an empty casing of what the PS3 might look like. When they show a real system with actual games playing on it then I might start to believe. However there are just way to many technical issues sony has to work out still. I.E. Betaray DVD, AACS LA has imposed restrictions on the playback of a HD signal. To sum it up you have to have a HDMI hookup that supports HDCP and COPP. Most TV's do not have this. Heck there are already over 3 million HDTV owners that do not have this hookup. (I'm lucky, mine supports it). Why even incorporate a betaray player into the PS3 when 80% of people who are going to buy this thing won't even be able to watch HD content on there TV? (i'm a fan of HD-DVD's, a lot more cost effective for the adult entertainment industry which will ultimatly decide who wins this war) And dont even get me started on there recent lawsuit. Isn't sony paying out $90 mil in damages and are suppose to stop production of certain games and the dual shock controller. I have always said 2007 the earliest, and its looking more and more like it. I will buy it when it comes out, but until then I have my xbox 360 (lovin it) and I will have a revolution hopefully this november (nintendo is saying much as usual). Right now, just go buy onimusha: Dawn of dreams, it is the shizzznits and stop worrying about all this nonsence.
