For many years the Tony Hawk franchise was the only serious option when it came to skating video games.Now EA relased SKATE for XBOX360 and PS3.The game has some pretty graphics,realistic movement,and plenty (and mostly) complicating tricks.The online feature is pretty slick,where you can compete in various contests with other skaters and is sure to provide a lot of fun.When it comes to the game soundtrack it is n't so grat as in tony hawk series.SKATE (and tony hawk proving ground as well) is a game that refers to the minority of gamers-gamers that are also into skating-so this guys will surely enjoy it.When it comes to the rest of us,it's a nice game but it doesn't make wanna take a day off,and play all day!!So the final verdict a solid 3.0/5.0 from me because EA made a good effort.

The 360 is a very good console when it comes to being Next-gen. You can download various amounts of content such as movies, extra game contents, and episodes of your favorite shows plus so much more. The selection of high quality games is second to none and the graphics are simply amazing. The systems only downfall would be the 33% failure rate among the units. But with an extended warrany that shouldnt be too much of problem.

The game choice on the 360 is easily the best of the three consoles. Xbox Live continues to be the leader of the multiplayer category. The graphics are excellent and the gameplay is rock solid on many games. The controller to me is the best of the three consoles. So far, there are four different versions of the console. This year, faceplates will add a new level of customization to the Xbox 360. The games may freeze sometimes, but it isn't often enough to make this a terrible console.

stong storline and and good action controls, a nice ending that will leave you hanging. good soundtrack as well... just kidding. i hope they make a sequal roflao

This is my second review for the 360 and this time its better.This system yes has a few flaws but it all evens out in the end.They RROD can be simply fixed by sending it in and getting it repaired and you will be back playing Halo 3 in 1-2 weeks.The games are the best there are more AAA titles then the Wii and PS3 combined.The Online play is amazing as always.It has a awesome controller easy to use and very smooth.The RROD isnt much of a problem and it can easily be fixed it may be a problem for some people but the great games are coming out your ears.I think the 360 should e the system of the year and very great job by Microsoft.

A Microsoft exec is saying XBox360 is the Best buy around. Wow! That is some revolation. We, as Video Game consumers can believe one of two things; 1. Don Mattick's opinion is completely unbias. or 2. Don mattick is trying to clear the way for the New XBoxHD (Q4 2008). I'm going with #2! Here is why: The XBoxHD is launching Q4 2008 (Christmas 2008). You also have to remember that Microsoft attributes the success of the 360 to XBoxLIVE and NOT to the actual console. That is why it is easy for M$ to move on to the next system and so easily dump the 360. Microsoft even hired the guy who designed HOME for the Playstation network so he could design a spin-off of HOME for the XBoxHD. On top of that, Toshiba purchased the right to manufacture the CELL processor from Sony last month. The XBoxHD will be equipped with a spin off of the CELL, Internal HD-DVD (or Blu-ray depending on if HD-DVD is able to tread water for the next few months), Dual TV tuner & internal WiFi. Probably for a grand total of somewhere in the range of $600 depending on how much M$ wants to lose on each system sold. So in actuality it could range from $579 to $699. You have to remember, the dual Tuner alone costs $200 wholesale. HDDVD Drive (1080p) around $200. WiFi, $75-$100. That's $500 right there without anything else - case, LED's, HDMI, ports, packaging, cables, controler, headset, Blutooth system, etc. - I was being ultra-conservative by saying $600. But hey, Microsoft is made of money with money to burn so who knows. They might decide to take a $200 loss on each system. It's no inconceivable.

its a fun system, until it breaks. the red ring sucks. the games are good. the hardware sucks. well its just ok. you have to pay for the online, and it isnt that good.

The dumbest sku MS has released yet. No HDD no writeable usb ports and as of yet no jasper motherboard. Stay away from this POS unless ur only interested in retro arcde games or a rabid MS fan on welfare!

Dammit, the lowest number i can give is a .25? These control colors are a complete joke, and don't deserve any points at all. I don't care what console you are, what the heck are you smoking to supply "gay" colors (no offense to you gay guys)... well i guess it can appeal to the gay crowd... okay then, the controls get 1 point, but that's only because im all for equal rights.

The Microsoft Xbox is the strangest, bulkiest, and the ugliest gaming console I have ever seen. Its black controller is also very bulky and unattractive to handle. The successor to this system will also repeat this ugly problem. The title "360" doesn't really match to the second Xbox. Basically, this oversized machine(Xbox) is unacceptable! All games are bad compared to Sony and Nintendo except Halo. Online play is completely not free. This console will definitely fail to the more popular and experienced Sony PS3 no matter what happens. The first Xbox graphics were better than the PS2, but the 360(1.5) one won't be as strong as the PS3. Also, the Xbox has the weakest third party support and a small library of bad games. I believe that XBOX and XBOX 1.5 should be eliminated in the gaming business. They (Microsoft) are amateurs in making games. They copied off from Nintendo and Sony. Microsoft should not waste their money on video games and they should just focus on computer software, etc.!!!!!!
