Age of Empires the age of kings

This game is perfect for people who likes history or enjoys stragy games but after awhile the game becomes hard that it comes to a crawl over all it's a great game.

age of kings

could use a little improvment yet has great challenges and can cause serious headachs. Each profile for the main 6 charecters each has its own difficulty so for a beginner dont play richard first star with tutorial and for a hardcore player dont stay with the easy stuff try and beat the whole game trust me it takes forever

Pretty good game

This game is a very good bordem blaster, and it can be very fun! The only problem is that the graphics are very poor, and the gameplay is extremely slow. It takes about 2 hours to beat one deathmatch and after that, you don't want to play it anymore. The game is good, but not VERY good....

More like a board game

I bought the game in awe that they had managed to bring a computer game as vast as Age of Empires: Age of Kings to the DS. I had no reason to be suprised though because the game is turnbased and the number of troops you control usually never goes above twelve because one troop stands for a small army. The game has strategy and sucked hours out of my life when I first got it. But after a while I put it down and havent picked it up since.

fair

IT is ok but it is better on the PC and the graphics are not as good on the DS but is a fun game especially when you get to build your own army and fight people with it.

A nice RTS for the DS

This is the first time Age Of Empires has come to the DS with Age Of Kings. Sometimes the graphics can get a little cluttered, but the core gameplay is really fun. If you're looking for a fun RTS for on the go gaming, this is a great choice.

Age of Nintendo DS

INTRODUCTION:Age of Empires is long time video game franchise on the computer, the game was fun and creative and has been copied many times but few strategy games are as good as Age ofEmpires. Now Nintendo adjust Age Of Empire to fit on their latest portable console the Nintendo DS.Is it good or bad?Read on to find out. REVIEW:This Age of Empire seemed promising since the DS has double screens, voice command and the touch screen wich would have made a stlish way of playing Age of Empire. The portage version of Age Of Kings is kinda deceving i have to admit, especially the poor graphics of the game and you can only pick from 5 civilizations.Sure enough the game wasn`t expected to be a computer copy but some points could have been adjusted i guess they still left the most important of Age of Empires but it just isn`t enough.Whats nice is that it fully uses the stylet pen, also you still have the 4 ages of your civilization like dark age, feudal ages ect,you can build most things that are in the computer game like Castles,Wonders, Towers and more.Another bad point is that you have to move you units one at the time.A good point for this game is that your civilazations have heroes like Richard the lion-hearted and they have special powers wich is nice enough. PROS: -Portable Age of Empire -You can unlock many things that helps you -Full use of the stylus pen -You can build nearly everithing that was on AOE for the computer -Addictive -You can play with up to 3 other friends -Each civilization has a specific hero CONS: -Poor Graphics -You have to move your units one at the time -You can only play as 5 civilizations(Saracens,Japanese,Britons,Franks and Mongols) -You cannot build your own maps OVERRAL:2.75/5-The game doesn`t add anything or even feel like AOE for the computer.

Great game, it can be better, though

sound: 4.99 it was almost perfect. Why? the Cuts actually sound like someone is slicing another dude, but when they respond to your "orders", it is pretty fuzzy Graphics: 2.5 it would also be why i would rate Age of Empires 2: Age of Kings; its good, but not good enough Dialog: 5.0 If They had a video game award for just the talking, this game would win it 5 times. control: 5.0 The Sims for PC is pretty much the same controlling as in this game, its too simple Buy or Rent? id say buy, as you cannot get every single bonus, all the Campains beaten, and destroyed your brother/sister/friend at it in less than 3 days Multiplayer 4.75 you wont even NEED 2 DSes to play this! now if only it was wifi...
