Lego Star Wars is not that great of a game. Sure there is tons of content and levels and stuff and the co-op multiplayer is useful, I just didn't have very much fun with it. The combat system is poor and so is the camera viewpoint. Why did the game have to feature legos for is beyond me. I think it would have been more fun if the game was more realistic and a better combat system.

this was a cool game it held my attantion throughout the whole thing. The controls were slick and easy for anyone to use. Also, the little humor was in most if not all of the cut-scenes. where the game did lagg was at diffaculty, it was som easy you don't die more than 12 times the whole game!!! if you want an easy one pick this one up, if not wait for the sequel and then try it.

I'm a 39 year old gamer stuck working to much with very little time to spend gaming. This game is the answer. It is simple and easy with puzzles challenging enough to hold my interest but not to difficult to ruin what little time I have to game. Lego and Star Wars were two childhood favorites and now they're together: what could be better?

This game is pretty good, but not good enough to get a 5/5. The fighting sucks, all you do is use square, triangle, and circle to fight. How simple is that?!

why do they even need a lego star wars?republic co. & revenge of the sith are plenty good,i just don't get it.So it gets 3.5,it may not be needed but it's pretty fun. >_<

lego star wars is a good game. there are some bad things and some good things. the bad things are the enimes are easy to kill, u cant play the 4,5, and 6th movie, the gameplay is too easy, and the game is VERY short. the good things are that its fun 2 play, u follow the story line of the first 3 movies, and u can be almost everybody in all the movies. (yoda,general grievious,darth maul,battle droids,all anakins,all obi- wons,jango fett.........) overall its a pretty cool game.

This game is beautiful. It is simply a work of art. Combining one of my two favorite things as a young lad, Star Wars, and those lovable lego bricks. Now I was thinking that this one was gonna be another mediocre, miss use of the awesome Star Wars property. Boy was I wrong. I immediately got in, and had a blast. You start out in Episode 1 and after the first level, you unlock the other two episodes. The controls are simple, and fun to use. X is of course jump, while O is special ability, square is attack, and triangle is to switch characters. The controls are simple enough, and pretty soon you'll be hacking and slashing your way through the beautifully rendered Star Wars worlds. The graphics are stunning, while this is no splinter cell, it looks as if your playing as real legos, while maintaining the look of Star Wars. The sound is great too. While there is no V.O., just grunts, and other various noises, the music is superb. It is the same beautiful orchestra we've heard through the years of Star Wars movies. Its also a game you can play with the younger audience. There is no real blood or violence in the game, and the deaths are comical in nature. My only beef with the game was that it was too short. I beat the game within about 4 hours. Other hard core gamers might be able to beat it in two. But the great thing about it is that it has hefty replay value, with an extra secret level to be unlocked, and many other characters to go back and play with, in free play mode. The best Star Wars 3rd person action game ever (not the best star wars game ever though, that title would belong to KOTOR). If you like star wars, you owe it to yourself to buy it. Cheers.

Now when I first got LEGO star wars for the PS2, I was expecting an okay sort of game where just being the charaters is fun. This game quikly showed that and more. You have the opporotunity to play in all three of the most recent episodes, including revenge of the sith. You have the chance to play as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, R2, C3-PO, Darth Maul, and many others. The Graphics are simply amazing and the fact that they are every ones fav. characters turned into those fun LEGO pieces is magnificent. Also there is a small puzzle-solving element to the game, with fully destructable and transformable enviornments. Each character has their own special abilities, such as the force, grappling, and door breaching. The camera angles are simply perfect. All I can say is...... Travelers Tales, you finally got your game formula perfect.
