ok

metal gear acid its not what you'd expect to see in metal gear where cheess and yugioh come together. But other than that it is a solid solid game one more thing it has blood in the game.

Why?? God Why?

OK, I a huge Metal Gear Fan. I understood that when Metal Gear: Acid was going to be release it was not going be your normal Metal Gear game play. When the PSP was first released, Metal Gear:Acid was the first game I had purchase for it. Exicted, late that night between work and studying I was able to sneak in some time to play, only to discover that not only I wasted time with this but money I could of spend on anything else...maybe even Ape Escape..Yeh, its that bad. So gamers beware you're in for a scare!

Metal Gear What???

I was really dissappointed in the concept of this game. It just doesn't work for me. Everything else is great as far as design but if you are a die hard MG fan then I don't see how you can enjoy a strategy version of the action you love.

Stop repeating yourself. You already said they have the same graphics. You can ask Shigeru Miyamoto which has better graphics, an I can almost guarantee he will say PSP.

ds and psp have about same graphics. the reason psp looks beeter is it has more pixels then the ds. in other words the screen is better thean the ds.

one of the better psp launch titles

i have to admit, i was cautious when, i heard that metal gear was card based on the psp. after playing lumines, untold legends, wipeout, and twisted metal. i was still not challenged and there are even fewer titles of challange currently. so i decided, why not. picked it up and now i can't put it down. using the cards for turns and action was different. it took me awhile to get it down. but now i'm proficient enough to move ahead. the visuals are excellent, i can't complain here. sound wise, everthing sounds fine except for the movements. it sounds like the characters are wearing heels instead of combat boots. you can't complain about the controls, it uses the direction pad and the square, x, circle, and triangle buttons. as for the load time, not much of it there. if you don't have the patience this title is not for you. this game has a high learning curve in the begining.

Wow! What a steaming pile of sale bin turned-based poo!

I only give it the one point for its graphics. The PSP is great. However, this is the biggest letdown I have witnessed since Matrix revolutions. I was misinformed when I went to buy this. You see, I didn't know it was played with cards. (5 min. of silence goes by)... with CARDS. You have to use CARDS to move and climb and shoot... Once I got passed the 2 hour beginning, (of which you don't care about anyway due to the characters and horribly generic dialogue) I suddenly felt myself wanting to do anything else but play this new $50 waste of memory. It's turn-based system had me yearning to use the best part of the game; its case! So that I could take it back. My advice for Snake next time is to put down the kiddy-cards and fight like a man. In conclusion, if you're in need of a pageholder for your book, or if your refrigerator is missing a footpeg, then this is the game for you. It's Craptastic! Your Turn, Dr. Fun aka Profanemantis
