The only baseball game i play.

MVP Baseball 2005 is the only baseball game i play. This game has about everything that you want in a baseball game. All of your childhood legends are on this game, but as most games, you have to unlock the best things. The games has a few flaws, but other than that, it is the best baseball game on the market. I strongly recommend that you buy this game if you have not already because this is one game that you do not want to miss out on.

This was one of the most realistic baseball games in 2005. Its not like the 2K sports where if you hit it its a homerun and if you dont, you either strike out or ground out or fly out. In this game, the players can hits doubles, triples, singles, and ifyou have a power hitter, a homerun. EA has to bring the MVP series back to the majors, and out of college because who really plays college baseball games anyway. You never hear about these guys until they reach AAA or the majors.

Michael

I really like this game even if it is only 2005. the game is fun to play no matter what the year. I started playing this game on GC since i was 16 and fell in love with it and finally bought it on PS2 and am playing it still.

If you never been able to play through a complete season read this

I buy a baseball game every year. I intend on playing through the whole season each time also. But around game 80 something happens...the game grows stale. I get that every games the same feeling. Well, this is the first baseball game where if you're a diehard baseball purist you will love this game. For the first time I've actually played through and entire season. The reason.....every game is diffrent, players have bad games and good games and yet their statistics come out at the end of the season just a you would expect most of the time. There are so many sliders that it is this way for anybody of any skill level. every game I see something new like a ball batted of a base and changing direction or throws to home hitting the pitching mound and flying over the catcher or a hit up the middle bouncing off a pitcher only to have a 3rd basemen pick it up and gun you out. Not to mention you got all farm clubs A, AA, and AAA. Best baseball game ever!

One of the Best

MVP Baseball 2005 is all a baseball fan can ask for. It has nice graphics, alot of different modes, good sound ( the announcers can get on your nerves but what would a sports game be without stupid announcers). The next and most important thing in a baseball game is the control. The control in MVP for the PS2 is outstanding. It easy to throw to the bases because the buttons on the controller are in dimond order. Plus their are so many ways to play the game ( I love pitching). Graphics- 4.5 Sound- 4.0 Control-5.0 Replay Value- High Fun Factor- 4.5

MVP,a step backwards?

MVP last year was perfection to me.Everything was great in it and I found nothing wrong. This years version is still flawless but has taken a step backwards for me.Graphically the game looks the sam too last years version which is not bad at all but can not stack up to games like Major League Baseball 2K5 from Kush and Visual Concepts. The gameplay although really puts you in the game. The controls are great and real responsive and they probably won't give you any problems.Just when you think everything is okay here comes the commentary. It's not awful but it's still something that can't stack up to Major League Basball 2K5.The new Owner Mode takes you in the life of your selected teams manager and while being really addictive it can be very frustrating at the same time but it's a new concept and hopefully by the next game it will be heavily improved.Everything is here and the gameplay is so realistic.Every batting stance is just like real life and there is hardly any glitches, the game is super smooth.Even though this year MVP dissapointed me just a tad.It still proves itself to be a very solid baseball game.
