I think that Area 51 is really a revolution in the gaming world because it is one of the only games that really exposes what we believe area 51 really looks like. The game includes testing on humans, government cover-up, hidden alien species underground, and even the so called, "fake" moon-landing. This really is an alien/U.F.O. nerd's dream game! If you are as obsessed with aliens and what is really out in the universe as I am, then you will love this game. After all, the universe is just too damn big for us to be alone...

awsome game the story line was perfect the weapons everything but the graghics was the best the transformation was good to it fit perfectly with the game

Great graphics, good storyline, amazing gameplay...my only issue with this game is it's length. i beat it in about 3 or 4 hours but it was extremely fun while it lasted.

At first playing this game i was reminded of the arcade and immediatly thinking i would need a light gun. Well i was wrong...and im glad too because as a first person shooter this game is pretty fierce. It is a sci-fi fpshooter, but dont you dare compare it to halo 2. Area 51 has alot of different qualities to offer. Area 51 has a great campaign mode which immedietly immerses you in the role of Ethan Cole. David "Mulder from X-files" Duchovny provides his voice for your character and after every level it makes he more intresting providing his own verbal diary of the events that had just passed..the story is well scripted and its fun non stop action. The gameplay is pretty sweet the weapons you'll never grow tired of blastin aliens with dual wielding shotguns. What also is cool is the ability to change yourself into the alien and have the special abilities that go along with it. Wrap it up id say the gameplay was great, easy controls. Fun to play and the graphics are great(xbox potential) and the weapon firing animations are also pretty realistic. Im giving this a 4/5 beacause of the Multiplayer. It's just not as fun as the Campaign..but this game is a definate addition to ANY sci-fi first person shooters library!

Ok. I know its been a long while since my last review. But I might still be able to pull it together. Let me start of by saying that this game should have got more critical acclaim than it did. Not only did the framerate handle perfectly with the relentlessly fast gameplay, the story was on cue to make a very good movie. The only thing that holds this game back is that the FPS mechanics of the game have already been done countless times bfore. It's a very good thing that I decided to wait for it to become cheaper because it is definitly worth $20.00. Your going in your going into doom the movie not Area 51. Now there is no point to make a Doom movie game. just play area 51 and you get Doom. Is this a good game or is just a poor excuse read my review. When I popped in this game I was expecting to play Area 51 but I when it got more indep with the game i found you it's just like Doom the Movie as far as story line. the graphics are great with good lighting and the cinamatics are just off the charts. the gameplay is just as good with the oppertunity like doom to get invected and with as a monster any time you want. the vo feature lots real people I know. Overall a good game maybe it could be a second Halo if it had it's own story line

reviewr 24, play the game before you rate it. anyway, are-51 is a intense fps, that's none halo related and not trying to reinvent the genre. the graphics are very good and the weapons recoil is the kicker for me. the weapons on the other hand is nothing to write home about. standard issue pistol, assualt rifle, sniper rifle, grenades, and alien technology. there are comical moments in the game, i'll not mention it and spoil it for you the readers. the plot realed me in hook line and sinker. it also left some questions unanswered and hopefully there would be area-51 II. off the get go area-51 is intense and it varies through out. it helps build a suspence, am i in the clear? am i going to make heavy contact? rent this little gem and try it out. don't pass it up because of what people say. try it and if you like it then no regrets. if you don't like it no regrets either because you didn't waste $50.
