My lil' sis haz a ds and i have 2 admit, it is a great system.the touch screen wuz an excellent idea allowing interactive games and picto chatnintendo made a good move.and the games r awesome (my fav' being yoshi's touch and go). but it comes nowhere close to the dominant power of the psp. if u want a less expensiv system go for the ds, but if u want theultimate gaming experience, the psp iz 4 u.

sorry nintendo lovers but you have to admit that the DS was a disastor. I bought one because i thought it would be the greatest thing ever but i was very disapionted with the results. Graphics of a N64 lame and horrible launch titles and barely any decent games in the future. The PSP is much better then the DS not only because of the amazing graphics but becuase they didnt disapoint anyone with crappy launch titles and they have a bright future of games and movies.
Nintendo's wonderful work of art.

I love the Nintendo DS. The graphics are amazing, for a pocket system, and it has alot of not good but GREAT games(ridge racer DS, super mario 64 DS, Mr. driller drill spirits) I got mine for christmas and i can't imagine my life without it. It's the perfect pocket system. The 2-screen deal is actually interesting and coll to see how they use it. To be honest I think the whole touch screen thing is completely useless and only makes games harder to play, But everything else is amazing. The DS is the perfect pocket system. and deserves a 5.0. Ok I have to run to wal- mart and get a PSP(I wish)
DS..almost perfect

As Fils-Aime puts it, Nintendo hasn't succeeded in the handheld industry because they were ahead technologically. They've succeeded these past 15 years because they knew what they were doing, and where they wanted their handheld (Game Boy, for those who've been under a rock for the last two decades) to go. A scant few years after their release of the original Game Boy (packaged with Tetris), Sega decides to release their own system. The Sega Game Gear. The Game Gear was a good system, but it failed in a few key aspects. One, the size. For the target demographic, the Game Gear was too large and clunky. For an older gamer, it may have fit into their hands comfortably. Two, the Game Boy already had a solid hold on the handheld market. Once a boulder is moving down the side of a mountain, how do you plan on stopping it? Easy, you don't. The Game Boy, on the other hand, fit easily into younger gamers' hands. Nintendo had a plan for their system, and they stuck to it. They enlisted the aid of many excellent developers to develop games for their system, and most of these games turned out fairly well. There are (as with all systems) the occassional clunkers, "kiddy" titles, what have you, but for the most part the games are of a good quality. Several years down the line, Nintendo releases the Game Boy Pocket: All the same features as the original Game Boy, just slimmed down as technology progressed. Fairly successful, but Nintendo was just competing with itself there. Next up is the Game Boy Color. Slightly wider than the Game Boy Pocket due to the battery compartment, it took the Game Boy into the world of color. This in itself was reason enough to buy the system, but the fact that it was backwards compatible with all of the older Game Boy games was a sheer delight. Older Game Boy users need not throw away their favorite games, they can enjoy them on this new Game Boy with basic color! To read the rest of this review, e-mail me at TheImmortalBum@Gmail.com

This looks amazing, I can't wait to see how it'll work. I've been waiting for this all year. Iwill admit I was a little worried when I first looked at the prototype, but I'm glad they fixed all the kinks of it.
