This game is amazing. There are so many new features it blows my mind. i'm 15 hours in and i'm still only in the first city. But the best part are the gang wars you can start. The city is divided into sections and at any point you can enter a section and kill all the rival gang members, starting a gang war. 3 waves of rival gang members will try to kill u. Kill all of them before they kill u and u win the territory for you gang, and u recieve constant cash from the territories u own. So damn cool.

Hey Ya'll, I feel good that GTA has put a black guy as the main character. W/ the gangs and time period, it is very fitting. I'm sick of this garbage on the news about it being racist. If he was white or Italian, it would be okay, right? I commend Rockstar for trying something new and bold. Other than that, this is a great game and I look forward to putting my 170 hours into it. This game is beyond perfect. I can't wait for Metal Gear. Peace out-

Rockstar games is up to it again, and they pulled out a amazing arsenal of gaming goodness. You can now swim, gamble, eat, customnize vehicles, and even do bunnyhops over pedestrians on your bike (and who doesnt want to do that?) Rockstar has really outdone thereselves, they have gave us so many more features then the previous version of Vice City, The game is longer then all previous GTA games combined! In my opinion this is easily the best PS2 game to date, and no PS2 collection should go without it.

i know you are trying to be tru to your halo fan club but theres no need to disc one of the most advance game every made...this game has more then the gang banging..its the sims...action..racing...flying...etc..this game has so much s@it...you won't be able to type enough words to decribe this game....other then the halo series it good but this game is real life stuff bro you need to think ..about it my friend, i'm not trying to disc you but share some light on you....etc...peace!!!

There are two games the holiday season that will compete for #1. They are Halo 2 and GTA: San Andreas. I can't remeber the last time two such megalith titles got released near the same time. It will be definently interesting to see which one will ship the most units. I, of course, plan to own both. I am going to make a prediction though and stake my name by it. GTA is going to sell more this holiday season simply because more people own ps2 than xbox in the u.s. And by holiday season I mean from release to December 25. And this only applies to North America, which actually benefits Xbox since it doesn't have good sales in Asia. So you can quote me on it. Jeritu said GTA will sell more. This website needs more bold predictions.
