NFL Street is the best game ever that EA sports BIG made. I like it a lot. But there is only thing about it that make me made. That is its hard to beat the "Ladder Mode" with a custom team starting with only bad players. I hope that is an NFL Street 2 coming out soon.
Good, but not as great as expected

I expected to be blown away by NFL Street. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it does provide a good experience. First is gameplay. NFL Street allows you to style, just as NBA Street does. Style points can be gained by holding in the L trigger as you run with the ball. This performs very basic moves. Advanced moves are executed by holding the L trigger while pressing the left joystick in and pointing the right stick in varying directions. Style can also be added to passes, spins, jukes, and stiff arms. You must be cautious, as styling increases the chance of a turnover. Gamebreakers are also back, although they aren't multi leveled. The Xbox version of Street features a great lighting system. This gives it a graphical edge over the other versions. Unlockable accessories are highlighted on players, whom are fairly detailed. The meat and taters of NFL Street is the Challenge mode. You start off by creating your own team. You can customize your own team from scratch, or pick from preset teams. From here, you unlock different divisions, and each has its own ladder and challenges. Completing a ladder nets you challenge points, which are used on challenges. Rewards in each challenge can range from development points to gear and players. Street includes 8 divisional ladders, with 25 challenges per division. This sums up to an incredibly deep 1 player experience. Street's multiplayer play is amazing, since so many weird things can happen. It is not unusual for 4 or 5 fumbles to occur during one play. I have experienced interceptions followed by 2 or 3 consecutive fumbles, resulting in unexpected scoring opportunities. Street does have alot going for it. However, the Stylin' gameplay gets repetitive, as some maneuvers aren't very useful. Multiplayer rarely ever gets old, as so many weird things happen. I feel that another volume of NFL Street will bring new life to the action, just as NBA Street Vol. 2 has done.

For some reason, NFL Street looks really fun from the beginning. The quirky character designs and personalities are a huge plus. Once the game starts though, the fun ends. Impossible controls on defense and overeasy controls on offense really do not set a football tone. The concept is good, but EA missed the boat as it did with NBA Street Vol. 2
Awesome but hard

First of all, the game is hard, period. However, that is a very good thing because you won't get tired of it quickly. Also, the controls are a bit difficult but once you played for a while, you'll have them down good. The graphics are absolutely stunning and the players look great. EA really did a great job on the player animations and the player faces are unreal. Overall, if you don't like the simulation type football game or is a casual football fan, you'll love this game. If you are a football fan, get this game, it is awesome.
