1080 is a very high class racing game, which has amazing graphics (for the Gamecube), nice responsive controls which change depending on what type of surface you are racing on, tracks that are very interesting and exciting, and the multiplayer is very good, other options included in this game are time attack and trick attack modes, though they are really extras to the main game. Another gameplay mechanic of note in the game is the avalanche levels which have you racing down a mountain away from an avalanche before it knocks you down and kills you, these levels are some of the most exiting and enjoyable in the game and really set it apart from other racing games. i've heard a lot of criticism towards this game, with comparisons to tony hawks style games, the thing you need to know before purchasing this game is that it is first and foremost a racer (though the extra modes are interesting though short lived) and there is therefore not very much depth with the tricks and so forth.

This game was fun but a little too easy once u got used to it. controls were easy enough but it was realy hard to get ur guy moving once u stopped for any reason.
