I never really was a huge fan of the sims games. but the sims 2 has revolutionized how the sims works. New careers, new outfits, and new furniture. Likes about the sims 2: You can create either a baby, a teenager, middle aged adult, or an elder. and as time goes on they get older and can die from old age, and there apperance can change if you don't take care of them. Kids actually have days off from school (there are actually days of the week) adults can have days off from work, and the teenagers can also have a job. There are goals you have to complete for your sims to get better at stuff. they have to do certain tasks before they can get a point in another activity. One more thing. you can have a basement. Dislikes: Building a house has not improved, it still is very time consuming and just a pain in the ass to do. Controlling your sims hasn't changed, if they get to tired they just fall on the floor and fall asleep there, and it's kinda irritating. It's still just the basic sims, build a house, create a family and try your best to keep your sims happy. And i wish they actually talked and used real words, insted of mumbling random crap. It gets really annoying. Overall...I think the Sims 2 will keep the normal sims fan happy for hours on end. and it's still one of the easiest ways to kill time.

Will this game still keep the "The best pc game of all time" award? The 1st Sims was actually claimed the the best PC game of all time. And it was true. Sims 2 is one great game but life ain't that easy. The Sims is finally full 3-D. You can zoom in, zoom out, turn around etc. The graphics are also great too. You don't need the most powerful machine out there to run Sims 2. However, controlling the game is actulally slow and sometimes tough now that its in 3-D. The sound is pretty much the same. The is no "WOW" in sound. The Sims 2 is not a easy game. Almost every second the Sim wants something. And when it comes to having a baby it's even tougher. Sims 2 has a lot more features like aging and generation passes after generation which is cool. But however the game features very few features of what all those expansion packs had. If all that content was in one, Sims 2 would be a lot better. The Sims 2 also gets repeitive at times. Taking care after Sim after Sim seems like the game is just a huge loop. Sims 2 is not ground breaking but it's game you should buy. For years in the making, The Sims 2 is worth the wait. Graphics: 4.0 Control: 3.5 Sound:4.0 Fun Factor: 4.0 Skaterkidcdn

THis game is like 100 times better than any of the other ones!!! Trust me on this...I love the Sims and if you don't then you should, just play this game and you will fall in love with them too....!
