In manhunt you play as James Earl Cash who just got executed on death row but is now back to his life and is being hunted by other gangs. Your main goal is to find out who set you up and get revenge. There is no MAJOR Dissapointment in this game but there are some stuff missing to make this an outstanding game. For one thing you get a knife to kill your enemy's a rail to fight someone with and a bag to make your enemy's unconcious those are all fine but we need guns please.The way you brawl without weapons is just kick and punch that's it. Graphics are a little cartoonish and cheesy. Bottomline the game is not bad but what is ridiculous is how much attention this game is getting.

Manhunt is a great game. It has good amount of violence and blood to make someone really freaked out. You play as James Earl Cash. You are to in this game to play a game to survive. It is not only game but a survival. So, I say you should buy it. That is if you can handle it.........

In my book, it takes pure godly genious to earn a 5.0 on my fun factor list, so 4.0 isn't bad! For those that prefer a run-in-guns-blazing violent game, stay away. The objective to this oddity is stealth and above all SPEED. You're gonna want to eliminate all of the foes in the area you're in, as quickly as possible and as violently as possible. Manhunt has some of the best and funniest (see game title; heard when you attempt an execution, fail and hide waiting for them to stop searching) enemy in- game dialog I've heard yet. The enemies are full of character and seem to have life full of problems of their own which almost makes you guilty for slicing their head off with a wire while they pissing in an alley. However, the enemies are also very stupid. I.e. since when can you stand in a 4x4 ft shadow and completely elude people 3 feet away?? Though, if this were not the case in Manhunt, the difficulty would be teetering on impossible. Which brings me to my next point: cheats. It makes me sooo incredibly angry when games are developed where the cheats are earned by beating the game! Half of the fun of games (single- player) is totally annihilating the enemy without a scratch on you. A good point for developers: unless you are absolutely certain that your game kicks copious amounts of ass, do not make the player earn the cheats. This way, even if the game sucks, there may be a certain amount of fun to be had. Anyway, 4.0 out of 5.0 because of cheats and difficulty. Don't make me bring up the plot.

All I have to say is AWESOME!!! This game is the best I've seen or played considering third person games. Very, very graphic and very fun! Things seen and heard on this game will shock you and make you laugh at the same time. Everything the reviewers before me stated are TRUE and then some. A must have, or at least rent it to beat it!!

Awesome story, sound, and graphics. sound(5.0) the things the gangs say to you is just funny, and the music is creepy. graphics(5.0) the blood, the people, the levels, and the weapons are all very well done. Controls(4.5) takes a while to get use to, but u will eventually. This is a must own for PS2 fans, and for people who like blood and violence, and when i say blood and violence, i mean alot of it. This game makes GTA look like a Kid game. Go Buy It!!

Imagine this.You are sentenced to dead.Instead of killing you,they put you a strong sedative.When you wake up you hear a voice,the voice say to get earpiece in the table.Then it says:I am the only way for you to get out of this.Do what i said and this thing will end before the night is out.Then it put you in a town when everyone want to kill you for the sport.You are the pray.This is manhunt.Instead of you this happen to James Earl Cash.This game is based in snuff films,then imagine the gore.This game is NOT intended to be played by KIDS,FAINT OF THE HEART OR INFANTS.In some parts the kills make me sick and sometime i close my eyes.Stealth is your greatest weapon.You can use the headset to make it more real.Buy it if you can stand it.send me a feedback at abrahamelias@prmail.net

another one of rockstars creations that had me glued to the tv manhunt is a mix between metalgear and tenchu. you have to use stealth and hide in shadows and not be seen. you can sneak up on people and a the enemies react to sound so you can knock on walls or kick trash cans to get attention. the graphics are good and the sound has a eerie feeling its an all around good game. if your a fan of rockstar games then add this to your collection because this is sure to be a hit. this is not a game for young kids
