Quidditch Come to Life

Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup is a game where any fan of Quidditch should have a lot of fun. By first playing as a Hogwarts House team, then as an International team in teh World Cup itself, this game lets you experience gameplay from the point of view of each player on your team, respectively. I have heard other reviews say you do not get to play as the Keeper (goal keeper) but this is not true. If the other team scores on you, you take control of the Keeper to throw the ball back to your team. For most of the game, you play as the Chasers, or goal-scorers, which there are three of. When you do enough combo moves it is possibly to press the 'y' button and become a beater, hitting a heavy ball called a Bludger at the opposing team in an effort to knock the ball from their hand. Then at the end of teh game you play the Seeker, who must speed past the other teams seeker in order to catch the golden snitch, a small ball, whcih will not only end the match but earn your team 150 points. Though the game has some flaws, such as not including Ireland (one of the best teams, who one the Quiddtch World Cup in the Harry Potter series), some teams having similar looking uniforms, or, for some people, not having good controsl (i think they're fine), thsi game is otherwise quite a lot of fun, challenging, and great for Quidditch fans who, obviously, couldn't play this fantasy game otherwise. My Ratings: Controls: 3.0 i think some areas of controlling the characters could be worked on, like making it easier to pass, but this does add the challenging bit to the game Sound: 4.5 the sound affects are great, and there are very few mistakes with the announcers commentation, its actually fun to hear what they have to say Graphics: 4.25 the International teams look great, the stadiums are amazing, the team special moves are intriguing. the only problem some fans have iwth the games is the Hogwarts graphics, which are not perfectly accurate for the characters. Fun Level: 4.0 the game's a lot of fun to play, especially when you get to choose international teams, where you get to see individualized team special moves and stadiums, and play at four different levels of difficulty. Difficulty Level: Average if you play the game more than a few times, you will get used to each difficulty level, as well as learn which teams are better at what, and pick up on strategies. Should a newer, better Quidditch game be released? definetly. I would want it to include Ireland and Peru, who are both not included in this game and should be. I would love to see a new game with new stadiums, moves, ect.

Harry Potter's favourite sport is definitly ain't my favourite.

Harry Potter is back! (*sigh* agian...) and EA games has made a game based on Hogwart's favourite sport Quidditch. That's right, Quidditch. The game features intnational teams plus the Hogwarts teams. The games are quite short however. The biggest problem in game ain't a control problem. The problem is that you get confused and.....frustrated. Why? 1. Everyone has similar shirts. 2. There stupid flicking lights everywhere and 3. The other person gets the ball off you quite easily and YOUR DAMN PERSON NEVER GOES FASTER! The graphics are weak they don't even look like the Harry Potter Characters. And the annoy announcer wants you to go in the game and kill everyone. This game is frustrating, unless you want to pop a vein or have a heart attack I suggest you stay away from this game. This game sucks...bad. Period. Graphics: 3.0 Sound:2.5 Control: 2.5 Fun Factor: 1.5
