I was expecting some combat controls to rival blood omen 2 and the controls got very repetative and let me down,game is fun tho and i just hope they put more time into combat next time.

This game ties so much together. Fun to play, fun to lift people up and impale them on sharp objects, or thrown into a fire. Battles are done well, voice acting is very good. Kain being my favorite with the Soul Reaver and more action oriented gameplay. Raziel has a more puzzle oriented gameplay and can teleport through the realms. Both stories intersect and very enjoyable.

Why? Because I said so! I'm hooked on this story. It's only matched by the Metal Gear Solids. The new combat system is phenomenal.

It's a great game with a great playability. It's a little hard to learn the controls, but after that, it gives you a great experience - a Devil May Cry like. The story is fantastic, it's like a movie. The grafics are pretty good, but we've seen this style on some games before. I recommend this game for everyone, even if you're not a fan of the series.

Frankly, this is the most compelling game for the "kain" series i've ever seen!! The combat system, althogh lacking great combos, is very crisp and will suffice you through the hordes of enemys you will encounter.. But, the strongest point is it, and all of the series, is the storyline. Even if you hate the series, once you get into it, it's like a movie. i cant even beleive that most people overlokked it because of the license on it! oh well, you have a BIG suprise waiting for you at the end of the game that ALL of the games could have used to gain sales. if you are a fan of the seeries then it's a 5.0 all of the way. if you AREN'T a fan of the series. then you will finy a not-so deep game but with a huge story, compelling bonuses, and the most annoying movie playback sytem you have eveeer seen. altogether lowerring it to a 3.5 for anyone who doesn't say "Vae Victus!" ps2/xbox/non-fan fun factor5.0/5.0/3.5 : D/:D/ :} graphics 4.5/5.0/4.5 sound 4.0/4.0/4.0 control 4.5/4.5/4.5 OVERALL:4.5/4.5/4.0

First of all, this game is the latest installment of the Legacy of Kain series.And the best one yet.This game got me hooked into the series with the great story and gameplay, dont forget the graphics.And if you want to know I prefer Raziel over Kain. This game in my opinion is 50% puzzles and 50% fighting.The puzzles arent bad, but itl take a while to get them.You have to be pretty smart.One of the worst things is at sometimes you have absolutely no idea what to do .The levels are HUGE and there is some backtracking that will get at your nerves. The controles are good but it takes a while to understand them.Because they dont exactly tell you what they are. My review may make it sound bad but it isnt.It is one of my favorite games ever.Let me tell you this Everthing else is perfect. litterly.And after a while youll forget about the mistakes.I recomend this game to everyone expect if youre a wuss.I also dont undertand why it was rated M .Sure it has alot of blood but its not scary.I hate ESRB.They dont know anything about ratings.........Visit my website: www.18thcenturypimp.blogspot.com
