This game is a fun game to play on the story mode. It gets me really excited. Although through the muddle of it it really pisses me off. His friend betrays and fakes his trick. Although this game is a very life like game and you get to do real things that pros would have to do in competitions, not really going around town and doing stuff for people and filming yourself but the stuff gets very realistic. This game is a good choice to play. I'm not really sure that the second one is as good but I wanna play it.

Yes!Buy this game!The graphics are wonderful.The designs you can put on your deck are beautiful and original.And they add the occasionall jokes like in Tampa AM can see a Police officer checking out a goat!The control is amazing such well....control no clunkyness or slowness or slow turns.What i always look forward to the THPS games are the soundtracks.Finally Social Distortion is listed also is Janes Addiction,Assorted Jellybeans,and many others.Well to rap it up there are some new skaters new levels and of course new trash.

Putting yourself as the star of the game is so satisfying.To see yourself skating against your so called best friend and beating him like a naughty stepchild in the skate competitions and getting pro deals and shoe signings and choosing your your skate company is so awesome.Buy this game now

This just the same old tony hawk with no story same old tricks at the same old school and junkyards NOT. This is by far the best Tony Hawk Yet.In this Tony hawk you play as a dude trying to become a pro skateboarder.Here is why tony hawk is so different and way better than the rest of the tony hawk franchise 1 it's not the same old junkyard scenes as you have seen it starts off in a neighborhood where skateboarding is never a crime. 2 You can even skateboard on roofs of houses for crying out loud. And 3 which is the important reason yet instead of JUST going off of ramps and grinding rails you have a series of several obstacle courses. The The tricks are really no different than what you have done on the other tony hawks but that's about the only similarity. Graphics are absolutely realistic and the plot is absolutely outstanding.

i only have a few things to say: 1) this is the best skateboarding game 2) there are plenty of things to do 3) you don't have to be a pro (you have to become one) 4) the graphics, sound, controls, etc. are 5 out of 5 5) thank god there will be an Underground 2 Thank you for your cooperation.

Without a doubt this game rocks. This is one huge leap from THPS 4. You can walk around, drive a car, wallplant, have a custom character in cutsceen like story line, create a board, create a city (not a park), use an Eyetoy to make you own character, the list goes on. This game has more features more capabilities then any boarding game around. When i say boarding I mean better then the original THPS games, better then SSX 3, better then Kelly Slaters Pro Surfer, better then Wakeboarding Unleashed with Shuan Murry. This game defintally rocks. So if you wana play as you own character customizes by you, and ride around on a board, this is defintally the way to go. -kenny

Best online game all year i love this game play it all the time. even stay up all night online chatting it up with my homeboys.

This game does just about everything the same way Tony Hawk's 4 did. With the exception of being able to get off your board, wallplants, and a few vehicle missions, this is the exact same game, just moved to different locations. Easily the best part of this game is the story mode. Unfortunately the story is way too short. I beat Sick, Normal, and Easy difficulties in about 10 hours total. The cut-scenes are excellent and all of the voice-acting is top-notch. The driving missions are fun, but don't expect the same calibur as GTA. The steering is shoddy, and it doesn't look or feel too realistic...far from it, in fact. The addition of being able to incorporate wall plants and hopping off your board into combos, is less than stellar. It's in no way anywhere near as revolutionary as being able to Manual in Tony Hawk's 3 was. I never use and wall plants or getting off my board combos, and I do as good if not better than most of the people online. Which brings up another point, online...it's the exact same as THPS4 online with one new mode, being the Firefight, which isn't exactly that fun or interesting. The music is massive, and there are enough genres incorporated to appease anyone who picks this game up. Overall, THUG is a fun and enjoyable game, but it just doesn't take the series to the next step. Wait until this one drops down to $30 or $20 than I'd suggest a purchase.

this is by far the best of the thps series. story mode is so cool. the missions are tough but POSSIBLE. create a deck is awesome. this will keep you busy for days. BUY THIS GAME
