Konami shows that Soild Snake may be the man when it comes to international espinoage, but when the vamps come a callin you need a good dose of belmont. First off the bad news there are times that I would have preferred to have full control of the camera instead of the fixed angles that you are given in this title(Case and point the Medusa Boss Fight). Sometimes the music seems alittle too based in modern techno dance to seem right for a game that features the creatures of the night. I Know that few people buy a game hoping for some great voice acting sometimes the dialog is just corny. Now that's out of the way all of the fans of SOTN will love that the castle is huge with plenty of hidden puzzles and secerts to keep the player looking to become even more powerful. Also this game has a little more story than most of its predessors had heck they even explanied how the power ups and sub-weapons got into the castle. Not to spoil too much but lets just say its well worth the $50 price tag

First off, forget everything about the N64 Castlevania games... they don't offically count (kinda like the second Metal Gear on NES). Konami has finally brought the Belmont clan into the 3D realm with amazing success. Everything about this game rocks. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because of the fixed camera angles that can sometimes be confusing when navigating between the game and the map, and the lack of some of the trademark platform jumping the Castlevania series is known for. Graphics - 5.0 (Animations are amazing) Sound - 5.0 (the people from SOTN have done it again) Controls - 4.5 (camera angles are sometimes confusing) Fun Factor - 4.5 (need more jumping... but not too much) I recommend any action/adventure or Castlevania fan immediately go pick this one up.
